I am an American nurse. I worked the ER through COVID. I am going to tell you what I saw. Not what the news said. Not what the agencies said. What I saw with my own eyes, in the hospitals where I worked. The story you were told and the story we lived were two different stories. The hospitals were empty. Empty triage. Empty units. Whole floors closed. Nurses sent home with reduced hours. The inappropriate TikTok videos of nurses dancing in PPE came out of those weeks because there was nothing else to do. The exception were the urban centers — New York, parts of LA etc— where people live stacked and respiratory illness moves fast. The rest of the country was a ghost town being filmed as a war zone.

My friend said she knew someone who needed a "bulldog" divorce attorney. Husband was trying to leave her high and dry with 3 kids for another woman. Now, it's rare that someone needs a bulldog for just child support in a divorce, so my radar is on. Anyway, took the case. OP says he'll pay our requested child support plus expenses after a quick mediation, he just wanted a DNA test on the kids. I ask my client if that's a problem and she says of course not. Y'all. Last week I randomly got a $9,000 bill for a hospital visit from last year. I called them up and they said my insurance decided not to cover it. Why? Because. .@Aetna can just decide they’re not interested in covering something and then you’re left with an inflated bill to pay out of pocket after the fact. This is in addition to a $2,000 bill that I already paid. They just don’t want to cover it despite me paying a monthly premium. Meanwhile illegals get free healthcare. Honestly fuck you @Aetna. I’m gonna do everything I can to destroy you.
