@daarkeae I even migrated a laravel app with inertia to tanstack start
English

@shrawberryy I've been using Paper lately, I can't help but think I'm just faster at straight up coding what I want to design.

The fact that you can update a shadcn/ui app created in 2023 from Radix to Base UI is proof that the model works.
I think, hear me out, that installing a component library that bundles styles with primitives into npm packages is a liability at this point. You're undoing the whole point of headless libraries.

@5813cf9e38904f What do you think makes it inconvenient? @tannerlinsley is very active here and I’m sure he would be open to feedback about it.
English

@daarkeae If your making a client only app I fully agree. But if you want rsc I think the tanstack implementation is very inconvenient
English

@daarkeae We should keep it like that, please. Don't make it the next (jaja) Next.js.

TanStack Start as a full meta-framework is relatively new (it only hit release candidate in late 2025), so you won’t find a long list of big enterprise apps built on it yet. That said, the individual libraries underneath it (Router, Query, Table) are battle-tested at massive scale: Sentry, Bluesky and other platforms use them in production
English

@daarkeae Please show links to real apps made with TanStart so we can compare them.

@mattpocockuk I want OpenAI models to catch up so bad. Anthropic’s lack of clarity makes me not want to use their product

Been waiting a month for Anthropic to answer a simple usage question about Claude Code subscriptions
Have I been ghosted
Matt Pocock@mattpocockuk
Can I get some questions answered by someone at Anthropic? 1. Can you use an OAuth token generated from a subscription to power the Claude Agent SDK strictly for using Claude Code in a local dev loop? All I want is a more reliable API for parallelizing multiple Claude Code's. 2. If I build an open source tool that relies on this pattern - i.e. for making parallelization easier - can I distribute it so that other people can use it? The reason I'm asking is that the legal compliance docs and @trq212's public statements (below) appear to contradict. x.com/trq212/status/…

@kakatohesss A company that built Steam and several great games. Many consider it the only ‘good monopoly’ there is
English

@cnakazawa Only thing keeping me from using codex instead of Claude is UI stuff
