@BorisJohnson Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme. A Ponzi requires a central operator promising returns and paying early investors with funds from later ones. Bitcoin has no issuer, no promoter, and no guaranteed return—just an open, decentralized monetary network driven by code and market demand.

TeraSwap.app is already protected against this. You have 3 layers of defense that would have blocked this transaction: Layer 1 - Chainlink Oracle Validation (HARD BLOCK) Your chainlink.ts compares the swap price with the real Chainlink price. If the deviation is ≥3%, the swap is completely blocked - the button is disabled and shows “Price deviation too high - blocked.” In the $50M case, the deviation would be ~99.93% - Chainlink would have detected this instantly. Layer 2 — Statistical Outlier Detection Your api.ts uses true median filtering - any quote with an output >3× the median is automatically removed. If multiple aggregators returned absurd prices for aTokens, the outliers would be filtered out. Layer 3 - Multi-Source Comparison By querying 11 sources simultaneously, if one source (such as CoW) returned an absurd price for a wrapped token, the other sources would either have no routing available (and be excluded) or return prices that clearly revealed the discrepancy. Conclusion: this exact scenario is impossible on TeraSwap. Chainlink would have blocked the swap with a 99%+ deviation long before the user could click “Swap.” Teraswap it!

When I started trading, I wanted real tools and a community that actually helped each other. Couldn't find one. Built it. Portfolio tracker. Trade journal. TradingView charts. Trading Dashboard. All free. No promises. No shortcuts. Just structure. cryptowhales.pt/en

🚨🇷🇺 Meanwhile in Russia Someone in the Kremlin didn't edit this footage of Putin having a coughing fit prior to him addressing the nation on TV. It was released to the public instead ‼️ Watch Putin at 29 seconds. Very weird.

@MikeSilagadze @ether_fi I have VERY strong feelings actually. Vault gang all day. But hey, a 50/50 split just means you should ship both and let us fight about it forever 😆

@ether_fi Direct deposit into vault for me. I like having the flexibility to decide what to do with my rewards, compound, use as collateral, or just hold. Self-custody means self-choice. That's what makes ether fi different.

How would you prefer to receive cashback rewards: direct deposit to your vault, or automatic deposit into a savings product that earns yield?

@Defi_Warhol @ether_fi The fact that @ether_fi gets a separate recommendation from the map says it all. Self-custody, cashback, yield on your collateral, and you never have to sell your crypto to spend it. Most neobanks give you one of these. ether. fi gives you all four.

Go neobanked. My personal recommendation: @ether_fi (yeah, I give them a s/o separately from the map) But here are more alternatives ↓

As a Portuguese resident I'd love this to be true, but it's not quite right anymore. Portugal introduced 28% tax on short-term crypto gains in 2023, and the old NHR regime was replaced with a more limited version. Still a great country for crypto and remote work, just not the 0% paradise it used to be. Worth checking the updated rules before making any moves 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Portuguese here. This is outdated and misleading. Portugal introduced crypto taxation in 2023. Short-term gains (under 1 year) are taxed at 28%. The old NHR regime that offered 0% on foreign income ended and was replaced with a much more limited version. 0% on dividends? Portuguese-source dividends are taxed at 28%. Portugal is still a great place to live and work remotely. But posting "0% on everything" in all caps doesn't help anyone, it gets people to move here with wrong expectations and then they get hit with a tax bill they didn't plan for. Do your own research. Talk to a local tax advisor. Don't trust all-caps tweets.

Fixed-rate lending is the missing piece that keeps institutions on the sideline. Variable rates are fine for DeFi natives. But no CFO is going to borrow at "whatever the rate is today." They need predictability. This is how DeFi goes from $10B to $100B. Not more speculation, better infrastructure.

As we approach the official release of Morpho’s fixed rate markets protocol it’s becoming clear that it should not be seen as an iteration of the existing Morpho variable rate markets (today known as Markets V1). It is a completely new paradigm that’s unlike anything DeFi has seen before. Fixed rate markets are an extension of Morpho's offering, not a replacement. Variable rate markets remain a foundational part of DeFi for the few years to come. The two will complement one another. For that reason, we’re drop the versioning naming we've been using up until now, and the protocols will no longer be named Markets V1 and Markets V2. We’re changing: Markets V1 → Morpho “Blue” (as it was originally) Markets V2 → Morpho “[TBA]” Blue introduced permissionless open-term variable rate markets, with externalized risk management. [TBA] will introduce fixed term, fixed rate, intent lending, with externalized risk and rate management. A completely different structure for pricing and matching that will take Morpho from $10B to $100B+. As a side note: Morpho Vaults retain versioning because Vaults V2 is a direct improvement designed to supersede Vaults V1, exactly what versioning is meant to signal. It has been an incredibly hard 2 years of building [TBA], but we are very excited to share more information about Morpho fixed-rate markets soon.

Banks want to ban stablecoin yield. DeFi protocols are generating 5-8% on stablecoins right now. One side builds. The other lobbies. Guess which one users are choosing.

@masterzorgon @ether_fi @MikeSilagadze You can. But cashback in $eth means you're accumulating automatically with every purchase. No swap, no timing decisions. It's DCA on autopilot every time you buy a coffee.

@a16z is raising $2 billion for a new crypto fund. In the middle of a bear market. While Fear & Greed sits at 10. Retail sells the bottom. VCs raise capital at the bottom. The pattern never changes. Only the people who notice it do.
