@NavalInstitute NAVSEA lost its way in the 1990’s due to its ‘reorganization’. New designs have no configuration control, e.g. LCS and DDG 1000 , which are perpetually in their home port and not forward deployed . Next up - FFG -62 Class and DDG-X. Result - wasted ships and $$$$. Shame.
