I'm not particularly virtuous or benevolent, I simply understand consequences very well. Behaviors have consequences and when I opt out of certain ones it's because I'm not in the mood to get punched in the face with the inevitable result.

@pensandpoison The issue is publishing is a business, and the big guys think conservative fiction will be a stinker. There's smaller houses that specialize in that genre, so not all is lost.

I recently spoke to a woman who works in marketing at a big five publishing house. She told me that her imprint represents zero conservative fiction authors. Zero. But a healthy literary culture should feature novels written by conservatives, liberals, Christians, atheists, feminists, socialists, traditionalists—and everyone in between. Instead, we're getting an ideological monoculture.
