Hey @eoghan the intercom iOS SDK is 9MB which is enormous. For comparison firebase is 1.1MB, Onesignal is 650 KB. Can you tell me if it’s on the roadmap to decrease it significantly? At this point 25% of our app is the intercom SDK

@kovacsamate @eoghan 4. We contain some other libraries that do increase our size, it's a tradeoff we think is reasonable as they let us better address customer issues 5. There are some areas we will investigate improving eg. pulling translations dynamically (~1.5mb savings)

@kovacsamate @eoghan 2. Compared to other Messengers (Whatsapp, Telegram, Signal ect) 9mb is pretty good, they are all between 130-250mb. 3. @kovacsamate @eoghan 1. We are a visual SDK, basically embedding a Messenger into host apps, no need to build anything we come with all the UI, sound effects, real time connections, translated strings out of the box.

What happened with @intercom dev process for iOS? Every release in the past year has bug fixes - crashes, notifications not firing, messages not sending. "Move fast & break things"? You break other people's apps. Where are senior devs, QA, code reviews? github.com/intercom/inter…

@hybridcattt @intercom Also, we made an example app which proves that intercom corrupts memory. Their response? „We’ll take a look sometimes” (almost a year has passed)

@intercom have a critical bug in their React Native library that I fixed in a PR nearly two months ago. It still hasn’t been merged in, nor commented on from their team. We really need to engage with our users. Does anyone have suggestions for alternatives?
