Can't believe I'm saying this but over the last 24 hours I've come to prefer @OpenAI's Sol 5.6 xhigh over @claudeai's Fable for 95%. Who would've thought fanboy me would turn over like this 😂 Amazing job to everyone in OAI for the huge step up since I last tried @thsottiaux 👏

@WittyWiresAI @OpenAI @claudeai @thsottiaux i dont mean "blind fanboy" situation - but i was definitely "Camp Claude" for the past year-ish. I'm still running both to make sure this isn't just a honeymoon-phase thing but Sol has been super impressive for my use cases

well done you for switching for the test - doesn't feel like fanboi behaviour. Currently 5.6 Sol is the only model anyone should be on via subscription. Or Fable5 (3.5 if you include Opus switching) and it 'might' be included in your subscription for another week, from next week? Er, no business works like that - I either build on it with confidence, or I don't. Currently, nobody can with confidence.

@bradleybernard @drbarnard @RiversidedotFM There are also some cases that are macOS-only, for example being able to process multi-in/out for In-Person (like we do today) is not something that's possible in chrome as of today - and we have many more cool Mac-first things coming soon 🔥

@sama @OpenAI @claudeai @thsottiaux overall it's done some amazing (and franmkly, surprising!) things already these past few days and it's understanding of bugs while we're working on the @RiversidedotFM macOS apps (even "rare" or fancier low level things) are really impressive! 🎙️

@sama @OpenAI @claudeai @thsottiaux two things im still looking out for: 1. usage, it's not clear to me yet if i can last an entire month in an opus/similar-like usage to what i have, but curious about it 2. Terminal UI of Codex still needs some love, where the macOS app is superior to the competition IMO

Something cool that Sol just "did" today that caught me surprised. Was working on a macOS AppKit window bug - it just requested Computer Use access, paused my Xcode and TYPED FOR ME IN LLDB TO DEBUG STUFF! 🤯 Was honestly pleasently surprised 😂
