@IsraelWarRoom Iran shouldn’t be reckless. But funny to see that Israel is sad that Beirut is bombed😂
English

@AJABreaking Got it. Iranians however have never made a serious effort to strengthen and upgrade their naval and Air Force capabilities over time.
English

@KobeissiLetter Theoretically Israel is a junior partner in this war. Practically, it’s the US.
English

@DanTalks1 They didn’t pick a fight. The fight picked them. Their strategic positioning, latent potential will always going to place them in Israel’s and therefore US cross roads.
English

Picking a fight with the US is what 130iq strategists do. Russian school of brain damage.
Russians With Attitude@RWApodcast
One advantage the Iranians have is that their entire elite seems to consist of 130 IQ polymath combat veterans with PhDs who stormed across minefields with fixed bayonets surrounded by poison gas back in the day and then spent 30 years studying philosophy, game theory, engineering and military science. Average decision-maker quality appears to be dramatically higher than elsewhere, especially qualified for shit-hits-the-fan situations

@JewishWarrior13 Gazans have been surviving most of their lives in ghettos. Iranians have been surviving 40+ years of financial terrorism inflicted by sanctions. But yeah, Israelis are God’s chosen people. So they must indeed be made of something different.

@AJABreaking All while having US bases, the country that literally assassinated their Supreme Leader.

China racked up over 3,500 recorded wars, with the Warring States period churning out roughly 1M battlefield deaths every decade for 200 years straight. Rome was basically at war for its entire existence. I don’t think you’ve read my piece. Because I’m simply saying that soft power means nothing if you can’t defend yourself, protect yourself, or look after your interests. That’s not how the world works.
English

I argued some time ago against "soft power," deeply flawed concept.
Applies to a lot of what is happening today:
U.S. soft power does not come from humanitarian aid, assistance or McDonald’s. It comes first from the credible exercise of power in defense of American interests. That credibility sustains the universal appeal of the American way of life. When it weakens, that appeal weakens with it.

@SharrenHaskel Of course, it won't stop Israel. And Israel will continue to kill civilians, destroy civilian infrastructure, start "pre-emptive" wars, assassinate people, as always.
English

Iran’s missile attacks deliberately targeting Israeli civilians may satisfy the bloodthirsty extremists in Tehran, but they will not stop Israel’s response.
Striking homes and families is not strength. It’s terror.
And it will not deter Israel from continuing to hit the regime responsible.
For our children, our families, and our security - we will prevail. #IranWar #israel

@MonicaLMarks Important to understand who has the more pain bearing capacity.

Iran trying to bomb the Gulf into anti-Americanism makes about as much sense as the United States trying to bomb Iran into pro-Americanism.
In other words, it doesn’t. Neither bomber should be surprised when met with retrenchment, not capitulation.

Update from Amb. Al Otaiba: As Dr. Anwar Gargash highlighted - Iran's attacks have only strengthened our resolve. We will deepen our partnership with the US and seek long-term solutions to Gulf security. thenationalnews.com/news/mena/2026…

@HayekAndKeynes Why is it a problem if there were talks? Since when what is said in politics understood as what's happening?
English

Iran has been speed dialing half the planet in a back door diplomatic effort to halt the war
FM Araghchi has recently spoken with Russia (Lavrov), Turkey (Fidan), India (Jaishankar), EU (Kallas), Oman, Pakistan, Egypt, Azerbaijan & a few others.
Most telling were Lavrov’s public comments which demanded an “immediate cessation of hostilities.” Turkey and India echoed this sentiment.
So much frantic diplomacy for a regime insisting nothing whatsoever is happening.
Tell me again how there are “no talks”? 🙃
