@ABC In my lower Virginia region, the economy over the last 30 years has led to more adults being forced to live off the jobs that teens once counted on for part-time income.
English

Teenagers have long marked the start of summer with first jobs at local restaurants, pools, camps or stores. But federal labor data and many teens' real-life experiences suggest those opportunities are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

@HalfwayPost Cue the Daddy Wasn't There song from Austin Powers.

@MacFarlaneNews Folks who most likely don't even need to pull their ID out at ABC stores tend to be the ones who say this crap.
English

I don’t recall showing ID “everytime” I walk into a restaurant
Am I the only one?

Blanche: "There's a lot of things we can be doing, like voter ID. Every time you walk into a restaurant you have to show ID. How about you have to show your idea to vote? That's not anything that's crazy."

@bobdillner question...why isn't Floracing promoting the broadcast of Bowman Gray over on Facebook? They scared folks will pile on them over the crappy streaming?
English

@PalmerReport He whipped out that Magna Carta, too. Isn't that why King James commissioned his version of the Bible, to counter some of the impact of that document?

@worldflood1 @OurShallowState Potassium cyanide was the poison, and Trump's crew most likely did a case study on Jones and implemented some of his tactics into their campaign. I watched the AMC+ Jim Jones marathon and saw some similarities.
English

There is a parallel to this that happened 1978 in Jonestown. Jim Jones was a malignant narcissist who felt everything was closing in on him. He was a criminal and he had a cult following. He was stealing the social security of the flock; along with any other money he could gatherer. He would practice almost with a 1000 people pretending to drink a deadly Kool-Aid.
Finally, when a United States congressman, whose aid was Jackie Spear, flew down to investigate Jones he was attacked & killed.
Jones got the Kool-Aid out, laced it with arsenic, wasn’t pretending now and had over 900 people, including himself, drink the Kool-Aid.
You leap forward to having a similar personality as a leader of the United States with all these hydrogen bombs, where word on the street is, the top joint chief of staff had to stop Trump from getting the nuclear code. He probably was going to use it on Iran.
Trump needs to be removed now!!
English

We have a malignant narcissist with the most dangerous pathology known to mankind, who is without moral compass, who is old, who is ill, who is aggrieved, who feels entitled, who has no self-control, who sees enemies in all disagreements, who is bent on petty vengeances, who feels his time is running out, and who is so prone to panic that he almost never sleeps - although he occasionally passes out at meetings, and who is fixated - above all else - at projecting grandiosity and avoiding or rectifying humiliation.
Can it be more dangerous?
Yes. And here's why: He is also his entire universe. In his mind, he is ALL THERE IS. The universe ceases to exist without him. And THIS is why malignant narcissists with power never want to go down alone.
Dems REALLY need to begin forcefully presenting a narrative that Trump is erratic AND unstable AND no longer able to carry out the duties of the presidency - as the entire world knows - and therefore he MUST be removed from office. It's NOT being said enough!!

@ColMoeDavis I hope they remain blacklisted until they're old enough to join the seniors tour.

Major props to Tiger, Rory, Scottie, and others who refused to join the Saudi Blood Money Tour … and shame on those of weak character who did.

@atrupar Hey Orange Goblin, thanks for confirming all of the positive news I've been seeing coming out of Ukraine lately.

English

@atrupar Just wait until they start discussing the negative impact overtime pay has on the economy as a reason to repeal the law.

@CuriosityonX I feel sorry for the people who have popped up during the rise of the EV to let us know their daily travels exceed an average of 250 miles a day. They must be spending their entire life behind a steering wheel. The folks I'm around bitch about driving 100 miles one way.
English

@WarMonitor3 Damn, I was just in the shower thinking about this. My granddad's service started in 43. He volunteered for the paratroopers. By the time he set foot in Europe, Hitler had eaten lead. By 1965, and at 1.5 yrs old, he was my only grandparent left. Thanks to the bomb.

@ColMoeDavis I'm curious as to how much the ballroom donor's list and the Epstein List have in common.
English

Trump contends that the incident at the White House Correspondents Dinner proves he needs a White House ballroom. Here are a couple of points.
According to the official White House announcement about the proposed ballroom, it would seat a maximum of 650 people. There were 2,600 people at the dinner on Saturday. Using Trump math, the ballroom would be 6,137 percent too small for the correspondents dinner.
Trump routinely attends big events that aren’t held in secure government facilities. You may recall a couple of weeks ago, as peace talks with Iran fizzled, Trump was in Miami at a UFC event where he shook hands with some among the sold out crowd of over 19,000 people in the Kaseya Center. So, if Trump gets a ballroom is he going to stop going to Superbowls, NASCAR races, rallies, UFC fights, and the Kennedy Center?
Finally, Trump wants to spend half a billion dollars on a ballroom because of Saturday’s incident where an armed educator was stopped 50 yards from the entrance to the ballroom where Trump was seated on the opposite side of the room. As Trump himself said, the perpetrator never got anywhere near him. It’s remarkable how a gun in the vicinity of the President, or the Supreme Court, or at NRA conventions is too dangerous to allow, but guns in schools, in public parks, and in bars are considered a God given right.

English

@atrupar Damn dragons accusing Zippo users of being the leading cause of fires.
English

Blanche: "Many people in this room have done it as well. They're just as guilty as a lot of people on X. When you have reporters, when you have media just being overly critical and calling the president horrible names for no reason and without evidence, it shouldn't surprise us that this type of rhetoric takes place."
English

@RadioFreeTom I see he's a Yankees fan. Gives me more reason to despise the team.
English

@WarFlash_2630 Is the guy at the beginning of the video cutting the fiber optic lead?
English

@PalmerReport Did the shooter have a room? If so, how did he have the insight to reserve a room at one of DC's most popular hotels for an event that Trump normally skips? He didn't announce he was going until March 2nd. My question is, was Trump the target or was it the gathering of the press?
