Israel (probably) or the US has crossed another line by attacking a nuclear facility. I can already hear the howls of outrage if/when Iran hits Dimona in a tit-for-tat response.

Iran does not have a nuclear “weapons” program, you do. You are the actual nuclear threat.

| مرثیه‌ای برای علوم‌انسانی| سالهاست که می‌دانیم چنین روزی خواهد آمد. که جامعه‌ای چندپاره، راه را برای طمعِ خارجی به خاک ایران باز کند. اما شما هیچوقت گوشی برای شنیدن نداشتید. فعالانه و دائم دانش‌آموخته‌های علوم انسانی را ساکت کردید. شما کسانی را می‌خواستید که برای ایده‌هایتان تئوری ببافند نه کسانی‌که برای سوال‌های پیش‌رویِ ایران دنبال جواب باشند. شما جواب‌ها را از پیش داشتید و هیچوقت در درستی آنها شک نکردید. دگم بودید و بسته تا کار به اینجا رسید. شما بازارِ دانشِ انسانی را کساد کردید. از «علم» صحبت می‌کردید اما علم برای شما هیچ‌وقت جامعه‌شناسی و علوم‌سیاسی نبود. اینها موی دماغ بودند. شما آدم‌هایی می‌خواستید که چالش نکنند و دهان‌هایی بسته داشته باشند و گوش‌های باز. بچه‌های این رشته‌ها را پراکنده کردید. رفتند دنبال نان و کتاب را بوسیدند. عرصه دانش اجتماعی از رونق افتاد. اسنپی شدند و یا کارمندهایی دنبال حداقلی از نان. تا کسی برای زدن حرف‌های لازم باقی نمانده باشد. دهان‌های دوخته. آدم‌هایی پراکنده شده. آنهایی که پرروتر از این بودند که عقب بنشینند را هم فرستادید آنجا که عرب نی نیانداخت. امثال سعید مدنی را که دلسوز ایران بود و حرف حساب میزد را کردید پشت میله‌ها تا کسی نماند که در صورتتان بگوید راه را اشتباه می‌روید. دانشگاه را اخته کردید. منطق‌تان تعزیر بود و جایی که داغ و درفش وسط بیایید علم از آن درِ دیگر بیرون می‌رود. فعالانه دانش اجتماعی را کُشتید تا به این نقطه برسیم. و حالا که با سیاه‌ترین و وحشی‌ترین آدم‌های روزگار مواجهیم، حالا که خاک ایران، این سرزمین نازنین ما، در خطر است، یادتان بیاید که بسیاری، به شما گفته بودند این روز خواهد آمد. اما شما خفه کردید. تریبون‌ها را گرفتید تا یک مشت لمپنِ بی‌سوادِ نادان، جایی بیرون از مرزهای ایران آقایی کنند و مرجعیت اجتماعی داشته باشند. کتاب‌سوزی کردید و به جنگ علم رفتید تا جامعه، کسی‌ را نداشته باشد که در تنگنا، وضعیت را برایش تشریح کند. و اینست عاقبت ماجرا. اینست سیاه‌روزی وطن در مواجهه با دشمنی دژخیم. بد کردید. بد کردید.

گزاره: جنگ مردم را می‌کشد. : یعنی دوست دارید با گلوله در خیابان بمیرید؟ : تلفات بمب‌ها از تلفات حاکمیت کمتر است. : اعدام بشوید خوب است؟ گزاره: بچه‌ها در میناب و سراسر ایران کشته شدند. : اگر در این وضعیت زنده می‌ماندند خوب بود؟ : جنگ سانتیمانتالیسم برنمی‌دارد. : جنگ هزینه دارد.

Very depressing day for anyone remotely interested in Iranian industrial development. The bastards know exactly what they are hitting. This is going to set us back for at least a decade and severely hurt reconstruction efforts after the war.

دودی که از ویرانه‌های فولاد مبارکه و خوزستان برمی‌خیزد خاکسترسوختنِ رگ‌های حیاتی یک ملت است. جنایتی که زیر نقاب فریبنده‌ «مداخله بشردوستانه»، دقیقاً همان زیرساخت‌هایی را نشانه رفته که قرار بود چرخ زندگی پیر و جوان و معیشت میلیون‌ها خانواده‌ ایرانی را بچرخاند. این بمب‌ها نه بر پیکره‌ یک نهاد، بلکه بر ستون فقرات اقتصاد ملی و سفره‌ کارگرانی فرود می‌آید که همین حالا هم زیر بار تورم کمر خم کرده‌اند. وقاحت محض است که ویرانی دارایی عمومی یک سرزمین را تماشا کنی و برای نابودی فرصت‌های شغلی و آینده‌ نسلی که نانش در گرو این چرخ‌دنده‌هاست، هورا بکشی. شلیک به زیرساخت‌های صنعتی، شلیک به حق زیستن یک ملت است و هیچ توجیهی نمی‌تواند بوی تعفن این خیانت به سفره‌ مردم را پاک کند. کاش می‌شد جلوی ویرانی ایران را بگیریم.

این صنایع فولاد با بدبختی و سال‌ها تلاش، زیر بار تحریم ساخته شدن. هیچ کشورکی در خاورمیانه این حجم از دانش و تخصص رو نداره و در دنیا معدود کشورهایی همچین تاسیساتی دارند. هر خشتی که از این‌ها پایین میریزه دل و قلب من هم باهاش میلرزه. اینا سرمایه‌های کشورن.
