@NathanIpYEG Nathan, where to start? Our healthcare system is struggling across the country, so it's certainly not strong, the pension has 792 billion in unfunded liabilities, and she has gone on record as saying she won't lead the province if the referendum passes. 0-3 so far.

Smith won’t stand up for our country because she simply doesn’t believe in what Canada means to most Albertans: ➡️ Strong public health care. ➡️ A secure Canada Pension Plan. ➡️ A proud history of freedom-loving Canadians who know we’re not the 51st state. albertandp.ca/SeparatistSmith

@CanadaGray From 1946 to 1988 the federal and provincial government funded housing construction, it became grants under Mulroney, then ended underChretien, and eventually the provinces stopped because it became unaffordable.

@cavanagh_danny Nurses union gave wab knew a failing grade on Healthcare recently. The idea that leftist governments know better than right leaning is a fallacy that is continually perpetuated, with no evidence to support it.

🇨🇦 Canada needs more Wab Kinews and fewer Scott Moes, Danielle Smiths and Doug Fords. We need premiers who care about Canadians, the environment, healthcare and education. It’s time to turf the separatists + the greedy, corrupt climate deniers who want to privatize healthcare.
Carla Beck@CarlaBeckSK

You want to talk about a guy who’s focused on building Canada? Premier Wab Kinew @WabKinew is doing just that. It was great to sit down with him today to talk about the trade corridor his government is working on to Churchill. The Manitoba NDP Government is focused on the future and I look forward to working with Premier Kinew and his incredible team to get generational, nation-building projects over the line.

@ArfinNathaniel Yeah sorry, labour unions and trade unions have advertised and publicly supported the NDP or Liberals openly with no one complaining on the left that it's partisan and inappropriate.

@mattjohnstonca No, it's because he called the shortest campaign he legally could, so that the wheels wouldn't fall off his campaign when people get to know him.

@GarbageHuman24 Jordan is speaking broadly - generally if you get rejected so many times, chances are that you're the problem. But Jordan would certainly agree that there are exceptions. For example, if a man is 2 feet tall with a hunchback, then it might not be his fault.

@knows_jill @TruepEHtriot No, but under the liberals who decided that protesters needed to have the war measures act dusted off, who passed legislation to prevent free speech and criticism, we fell into fascism. Look up the definition of fascism, it is not an idealogy belonging only to the right.

@CanadianModera1 The irony is you described the liberals over the last 10 years. We were told we don't have a culture as Canadians, the major conflicts of interest with mp's giving friends juicy contracts or funneling money to their own corps.

The problem with populists like Poilievre, Smith & Trump is they promise the moon & the stars, but what you get is chaos, culture wars, corruption, & cronyism. Take from this Albertan, don't fall for populist con. We live it every day out here. #abpoli #Election2025

@ChrisBataluk @marmisto The idea is that the capital gains would be deferred, as the money moves from the house to investment in Canadian stocks, promoting growth of Canadian firms, which raises wages or increases employment, and only at the end when everything is sold does the government take the tax.

@marmisto You could sell a rental property and as long as you reinvested the money into qualifying Canadian investments you wouldn't be taxed.

Can someone explain to me how eliminating the capital gains tax if reinvested in Canada is going to help the housing crisis considering the Canadian economy is largely built on a housing bubble?

@furmsies @ABDanielleSmith Health canada act states we should get 50% of our Healthcare costs covered by transfers. We get 22% roughly, it's why every health minister last year called for the feds to live up to their agreement.

The next time @ABDanielleSmith tries to tell you Ottawa does nothing for Alberta, show her this image. Smith's UCP has completely lost the plot, and their divisive attacks against the feds are hurting Albertans. #FireTheUCP

@CanadianModera1 You mean the pipeline that was delayed again and again and again? After Notley brought in the carbon tax that has ruined this country after the feds adopted it and has done nothing. Yeah she sure was great if you like overbearing attitude and failure.

Friends, When Premier Smith leaves office, can we find someone who can work with the feds and other provinces collaboratively. The last time we did that we got a pipeline to tidewater. #abpoli

@CoryBMorgan 312 million was handed out to numerous bands, all for the same reason, and not a single one used it for its intended purpose, a full audit and accounting is long overdue.

@NotaliaMateo @FensomRob The best analogy I've heard is boomers invented the ladder, climbed it to fortune, kicked the ladder over, and then denied ladders ever existed.

Boomers created a country that is unsustainable. They voted in their own interest. I'm not saying it's not understandable. Greed is an inherent trait of humans. I would have too. But any generation that leaves it shittier for the next is certainly not following the trend of centuries.

@gerald_big_ego @gilmcgowan Stones and glass houses Gil, except one is a grass roots group, and the other is a union funded and run political party that might be improperly registered as a Corp. Maybe if the NDP were willing to publicly show who is on their board it would give them credibility.

David Parker thought he was the smartest guy in the room. He thought he was above the law. He accused the AFL of breaking the law, but we followed it to the letter. It turns out he was the one breaking the rules. Now he’s paying the price. ctvnews.ca/edmonton/artic…

@TheBreakdownAB It's funny when leftists attack the UCP, but never a word about the NDP lying through there teeth about Smith selling hospitals or making us all pay for Healthcare. Or how about saying they hate US style politics, and then proceed to smear their opponents every chance they have?
