This is the same thing that happened to Slot, inherited a well drilled coached team, added some vibes and won the league. Now they are shit. Carrick been running on what Amorim built, just one month break and the players look like they’ve never played together. They are going back to the default shit setting. What has the manager been drilling them in Dublin. CARRICK OUT.

@GBUnitedx Nahh I’m not enjoying carrick’s football; it’s just players brilliance and once that’s gone united will drop off, just like they did under ole's time. I actually saw a clear identity even when losing during amorim’s time

Ruben Amorim was a hard man to understand. He played with five at the back, but no one ever said Manchester United played defensive football. No one ever said Manchester United weren’t creating chances. Ever wondered what Man United would have been if they let him rejuvenate the midfield and defense? Damn! This was away to Crystal Palace (1-2). As I did with Amorim, I’ll be patient with the next coach, but will you?!

@Cantonadevils He is so privileged that carrick is afraid to sub him off; the culture amorim built is reversing day by day, and united will be back in the same hole they were in before within sometimes

One day, a real conversation will be held about Kobbie Mainoo. Can’t keep up against fast paced teams, leaves the midfield wide open, and slow in tracking back.

@NoushardMUFC Btw we are not improving right now. In fact in the last few games it was just individual brilliance, i think we had a better project and vision under amorim which would have been help us dominate the europe

I’m a Manchester United fan with an understanding. Just because I liked Amorim’s 3-4-3 doesn’t mean I’m blind to reality. I’m not enjoying the lack of midweek football. I’m not celebrating being out of competitions. Do I hold Amorim accountable for that? Oh hell yes. Darren Fletcher and the FA situation? Absolutely. But let’s also be honest. Amorim’s football was like building a house where the roof frame was up, but the iron sheets weren’t on yet. The structure was there, the direction was clear ….. but the rain was still hitting us. Give it a little more time and those leaks might have been fixed. Right now though? Being out of other competitions is killing this fanbase. And at the same time, credit where it’s due Carrick has steadied things in the last few games and I’m happy with the response. You can recognize progress now and still believe the previous project was heading somewhere. Both things can be true.

@MUFC__Prince The stupid fans will never understand it; with those type of play united will never ever win a PL, let alone UCL! They didn’t even see most of the time united won under carrick just b'cuz of individual brilliance

When Amorim arrived, he explained the ideas, the structure, and exactly how he wanted Manchester United to play. For once, there was clarity. But many fans didn’t want a process. They wanted instant success. Carrick came in, and the results improved, but the performances often look worse. Too many games are still decided by moments, individual quality, counter-attack, and the so-called “United DNA”. That nostalgia has been holding this club back for years. If United really want to compete for major trophies again, they need a manager with a clear football identity. Looking back now, sacking Amorim may have been a mistake.

• What is Carrick style of play. • We play once a week and Carrick & his coaching staff reduced training. • The fitness of players have been dropping game by game. • We are playing like this just playing only Premier League, imagine how we would play next season, playing in 4 competitions. • Carrick isn’t tactically sound, man management and vibes won’t save us always. • An interim coach isn’t thesame thing as Permanent coach. • Make Carrick the coach next season and watch how United regress, I bet you. • Kobbie Mainoo isn’t that kid. • United players can’t handle playing back to back games. • Time will tell whether we made forward progress moving with Amorim or we made a mistake sacking him.

That wasn’t a red card. Kobbie Mainoo has been poor. We’ve poor in the first half. Great comeback getting the equalizers in the first half. Mbeumo is lost. Sesko is useless in the first half. This match is begging for Amad to open it up. Solid from Maguire. Cunha glimpses. Bruno glimpses also. Mazraoui decent. Yoro decent. Luke Shaw average.

Amorim and Carrick were given two completely different jobs. Amorim was brought in to implement a style of play - to reset habits, build structure, and change the identity of the team. That takes time. It also costs points in the short term. Carrick, on the other hand, is here for six months with one clear objective: get United into the Champions League. Nothing more. Nothing less. Short-term coaching is about maximising points. Long-term coaching is about building something sustainable. That’s why Carrick can collect more points with the same players Amorim was rebuilding. Amorim refused to take the easy route - sitting deep, playing safe, chasing quick fixes. He stuck to the process even when it hurt him. Some fans look at the table. Others look at the direction. That’s the difference.

@_onlyscott The comments show how poor City fans are, I doubt whether they even watch City’s games. It’s simple; Cancelo’s name should’ve come to mind in milliseconds.
