Есть страна. С огромной территорией и малюсеньким населением. Реальное население страны - примерно 100 миллионов. Из них 20 миллионов живут на крохотном пятачке столицы и её окрестностей. За пределами пятачка лежит территория размером с 50 Германий, но живёт на той территории столько же людей, сколько в 1 Германии (на картинке - карта распределения населения по территории). Колоссальные пустые пространства, без людей, без инфраструктуры, местами никогда не освоенные, местами заброшенные. Изредка на этих пространствах возникают маленькие точки городов. В них живут люди. 90% этих людей за всю жизнь не отъезжают от города, где живут, больше, чем на 100 км. Но изрядное число этих людей убеждены, что их стране ужасно не хватает территорий.

In my opinion, yesterday a turning point in the war took place. Perhaps we still do not fully grasp the significance of what happened. For the first time, Putin publicly showed his weakness and inability to independently protect his capital, his parade, and himself from our strikes. Because of this, a frightened Putin was forced to publicly humiliate himself and ask Trump, as a mediator, to help stop a strike on Moscow. De facto, Putin asked Trump to protect him from the Ukrainians. I consider President Zelenskyy’s order a brilliant informational slap in the face and an additional public humiliation. It is obvious that before and during the parade, Putin was physically afraid - he felt vulnerable and threatened. Putin publicly appeared weak and humiliated, and in Russia’s "prison-style" political culture, such things are not forgiven. A weak "tsar," mocked by everyone, cannot remain a tsar in Russia. These are very, very hard times for Ukraine. However, Ukraine is strong, resilient, and continues the fight. Slava Ukraini!

The EU launched a video showcasing how life would be without it. Luckily, the EU exists and it protects us from extortion, allows Europeans to easily travel, ensures privacy, consumer rights, the single market, and scale. A divided Europe would be weak, United, a Superpower.

The EU is already the largest provider of equipment to Moldova’s Armed Forces: supporting logistics, medical aid, and the protection of critical infrastructure.
