Let’s summarize where we are after a 40+ day Democrat shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security. 1) ICE and CBP are funded, thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts and the foresight of President Trump and Republicans in Congress. 2) After holding DHS and the American people hostage for over 40 days, Dems got ZERO restrictions that would prevent ICE and CBP agents from doing their jobs safely. 3) Due to Dem obstruction of the appropriations process, ICE and CBP will get even more funding through budget reconciliation. 4) Dems have once again established themselves as the “Open Borders, Defund the Police” party heading into an election. 5) Dem leadership has proven once again they can’t be trusted to make a deal. Which begs the question if you’re a Dem senator or one of their left-wing supporters: What was this really all about?

Someone I really care about. That I truly respect. A fellow paramedic. Looked at me and said yesterday, “I’ve got cancer in my liver and it’s moved through my body, this will be my last shift with you.” Then he looked really sad and said “yes Harry, I know it was from the Covid shot.” Needless to say, I’m fighting depression at the moment. Having 50 senators as co-sponsors for the SAVE Act shows strong support, but it doesn't mean enough votes for passage. The Senate requires at least 51 votes for a simple majority (or 60 to end a filibuster). The bill passed the House recently but awaits a Senate vote, with uncertain outcome based on current debates.

This is twice now that Senator Collins has saved this nation with a defining vote, first the Kavanaugh confirmation, and now the SAVE act. Yet I am astonished that the concept of proving one’s identity to vote had to be fought for. Equally discouraging is the sad vision of fraudster Democrats digging their heels in to protect all the ways they habitually cheat in elections.
