It doesn’t pass your card info. It passes a one-time generated token for each payment you make with Apple Pay.

@TheAppleDesign Apple passes your card info directly to the store? Google uses virtual one-time codes, and the store never sees your card info. So Apple sounds much worse and more insecure.
