When I got to the big money drafts (Mains/ACs), I had a very narrow list of closers I would draft and these players were fades at anywhere near their cost:

When asked if Jordan Westburg will be ready May 1, Mike Elias said no. He expects the IL stint to go into May at least.

@RobSilver I think Pagan, Seranthony, & Fairbanks are safe picks. Are they the best? No, but frugal teams are paying them a lot of money to pitch in the 9th. They will get chance after chance to close where as other guys may only get one chance.

I’d rather Pagan, Dennis Santana and probably Abreu as my second closer. I’d take Hoffman over Estevez, Seranthony.
Not surprisingly I have no Hoffman.

I think Jeff Hoffman will probably be ok in 2026 but he is the riskiest ‘good’ closer for fantasy (I don’t include Carlos Estevez)
The leash is just very short - a bad first two weeks and it won’t be sustainable for him to pitch the 9th for a while IMO
Again, I think he’s fine

NEW: ABC's "Bachelorette" caught on camera allegedly attacking her ex-boyfriend and throwing a chair at him, which appeared to hit her child.
The "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star is reportedly under investigation for domestic violence.
"The Draper City Police Department in Utah [is investigating] the allegations on both sides after a recent incident," Variety recently reported.
It's unclear if the police are investigating this incident or a separate one.
Paul is set to star in Season 22 of “The Bachelorette," which reportedly starts in 3 days.

Didier Fuentes has now retired 27 of the 28 batters he faced this Spring! With the lone mistake being a HBP, the young righty has been virtually unstoppable this spring with a 60.7 K%. That fastball is wicked and the new slider looks to be an amazing addition. He looks so good!

Chase Burns is healthy. Terry Francona on the decision to limit Burns’ pitches today (a de load): “He’s working through some of his routines and stuff.” Burns got a great five days of work in leading up to the game. But that extra work cost him some pitches today. They just want to make sure he’s good to go. “It also may cost him an inning…” likely meaning he may not throw 100+ pitches in his first start of the year. But Burns is a starter, and he’s fine. Most importantly, he looked great today.

$350 OLCs & $150 DCs – Out at current price. Too many peeps locked him much cheaper. not paying a premium they didn’t
$1,800 Main Event – Only consider if he falls well past his ADP (9th). If demoted, adp falls to 14/15
