the opencode go plan might have attracted the worst possible type of customers pays almost nothing, demands pretty much everything my condolences to the opencode team

it took us several days to get our new AWS accounts properly provisioned with the right capacity limits to deploy our stuff it's crazy how things have regressed here

turns out this isn't spec compliant. it resets the sequence counter instead of bumping the timestamp, so it kept generating timestamps in the future 😂 was good to generate ~4k ids/s ut after that... welcome to the future. working on a fix that doesn't kill all these perf gains.

fastv7 is crazy fast because we just pool crypto random bytes and builds the uuid in one pass. raw bytes → hex at ~18m ids/sec.
