First impressions are it’s an awful lot of fun, especially on country roads and above 5500 rpm - the noise it makes is like it’s about to take off!! Dislikes for me are the driving position (I’m a bit too tall), No heated seats and it took me ages to find filler fuel release. However the worst thing has to be the road noise - it is simply ear splitting! Shoes are Michelin pilot sports, which are plenty grippy but Jesus I wouldn’t like to use it on a day to day basis it’s like it’s got 18 wheels!

@LUDENClassics @ACAKingsLynn That L in the chassis number indicates it was originally a left hand drive model (that appears to have been converted to right hand drive). So that’s not going to help.

@Rubystone911 @LUDENClassics @BonhamsCars The early paperwork towards the end of the photos suggest it’s an Evo, but it definitely had high back seats added later, so Evo 1 or 2? The description for the sale should be better..

@daniel_willmott @LUDENClassics @BonhamsCars Not necessarily. Many were registered late. This could easily be just a 16 valve. I'd want to see the chassis number checked out. The bills also suggest it's had a new engine block too ...so is it now no longer matching numbers? It's all about the details....

@hjwakerley @timoldland My E46 did exactly what we wanted it to do, I upgraded the centre console to cupholders - well worth it. Bought the section direct from BMW

13 months of hunting for a daily driver has finally come to an end. Thank goodness. The most beautifully basic E46 Touring you could wish for. Cherished for 19 years by the same family it feels strangely emotional taking it on. It’s a keeper and not at all what I was looking for 🤣 Thanks to @jakebeldercars for connecting the dots.

@CooperativeBank Hi, thanks for the reply, I deleted the app twice and reinstalled, didn’t work. Face ID worked on log in, but then didn’t complete when Face ID needed again for paying someone. Reinstalled with Face ID off and works with manual credentials, so looks like a Face ID issue

@CooperativeBank are you aware of an issue with making payments from your app (iPhone), it has been like this for about a week. Face ID works on logging in, when making a payment, the face ID icon comes up, then get a blue screen with some text and transaction doesn’t complete
