Let them come. Let them all come down. Let them take a good long look around. Let them see if my rivers won't suit them. Let them drown.

@maiamindel I tried to do Daf Yomi and read a whole discourse on what happens if we have a contract for the sale of red wheat and instead I deliver white wheat and I gave up because I realized I had covered all this in my first year of law school.

@daniela__127 With who? By then all the countries investing billions to destroy Israel will be gone, there won’t be any reason for another war

Next year I’m going to try to go to Israel for Passover. Hopefully I’ll manage to get my trip in between the end of this war and the start of an entirely new war.

A Hezbollah-affiliated terrorist attempted to murder dozens of American children to avenge the death of his brothers, who were killed fighting for Hezbollah in Lebanon. By the grace of god no one was injured, but these photos show how close we were to a mass casualty event.

Temple Israel is releasing photos of the devastation in order "to take back control of our narrative," the congregation said in a statement. I am posting these photos, which were taken by Emily Elconin, with permission.

@MikeyG_NY That's true but in some ways that almost makes it worse? Old people like me had a history of using the word "gay" like a slur and had to actively change that, around this time. By 2010 or so it was no longer acceptable to use "gay" like that.

This is a bad tweet. By 2013 you could not use the word “gay” like this. I was there. I remember.

Well now we all now why the Mamdani campaign worked so hard to hide Rama Duwaji from the public for as long as possible.

@CoreyWriting Yes this is exactly the purpose of J Street. It has no grassroots support and is not really trying to cultivate any. It exists to provide cover to Dems who want to harshly criticize Israel but don’t want to be accused of being anti-Jewish. The “As a Jews” of Israel politics.

That’s just not true. They offered Israel normalization if it absorbs millions of Arab “refugees” and changes its name to Palestine. That’s the meaning of the “right of return” condition that gullible Western observers assume is just rhetoric.
Brian Tashman@briantashman

Every Arab country for two decades now has offered Israel full normalization of ties if they formalize their 1967 borders and end the occupation. Israel said no.

I don't know who J Street intends to court with this type of rhetoric, but it's not mainstream American Jews. Which is fine, J Street can cultivate whatever constituency it wants, but we should be honest about that. x.com/LinkofSunshine…

@LinkofSunshine @cacafuegoo Clearly the constituency that J Street is trying to court is not mainstream American Jews. Which is fine, J Street can cultivate whatever base it wants, but we should be honest about that.

J Street is an incredibly important organization to give people, many with familial ties to Israel, an off-ramp as an alternative to AIPAC

@LinkofSunshine J Street has made zero in-roads with American Jews since Oct 7th. There's simply no appetite for J Street. What does it even stand for, why do I need an off-ramp, why would I support J Street over AIPAC?
