Can't stop thinking about Elon Musk, the wealthiest man alive worth $828 billion, spending $290 million to elect Trump, becoming $563 billion richer since Trump was elected and ending humanitarian aid that will lead to the deaths of 4.5 million of the poorest kids on the planet.

The Fifa president joked if a ticket was sold for such a price he would make the delivery to make sure the supporter "has a great experience". 🌭🥤 Last month four tickets behind the goal for the final in New Jersey were listed for just under $2.3m (£1.693m) apiece.

The final round of this year's Masters averaged 14 million viewers on CBS, making it the most-watched final round in 11 years. Sunday's coverage also peaked at 20 million viewers, the largest television peak for the Masters since 2013.

Her father, Lang Hancock, said on national television in 1984 that Indigenous Australians he described as “half-castes” should be rounded up and have their water “doped up so that they were sterile and would breed themselves out in the future.” Donnell Wallam — only the third Indigenous woman ever to represent Australia in netball — privately requested that Rinehart publicly denounce those comments. Rinehart refused. Wallam was then denied an exemption from wearing the Hancock logo on her debut, and under unbearable pressure eventually agreed to wear it — at which point Rinehart pulled the $15 million sponsorship anyway, describing the players’ concerns as “virtue signalling.” This is who funds One Nation. This is the legacy behind the money.

South Australia election has 4 seats in doubt, Heysen, Morphett, MacKillop and Narungga. I've started a post summarising the overall result, setting out the seats changing party and listing the retiring, defeated and new members. I'll update twice daily. Link in reply.

According to Pauline Hanson, asking for policy costings is a “stupid question” - because One Nation has never been serious enough about policy to survive real scrutiny. One Nation doesn’t build policy - it sells slogans.

In many Australian pro sports, when a major record or milestone is achieved, thousands of fans storm the field (and go unpunished). A few hours ago, these absolutely wild scenes occurred when Alex Johnston broke the all-time record for the most NRL (rugby league) tries...

Ridiculous decision. @JasonBennettTV is easily one of the best AFL commentators & has been for a long time. Accurate, incisive, good judge of when to amp it up or back off. Yet @7AFL have always kept him in the shadows. Not sure what the rationale is but it's a really bad move.

The crowd at the Olympics was not booing JD Vance. If you’ve ever been at a sporting event where they yell Coop or Lou it sounds very similar. They were yelling JD.

@Jaack Assuming you’re a pub player who can hit the occasional 18 darter, you just need to throw first and hope he doesn’t finish in 15. Might take 100 goes, depending how often you can hit an 18 I guess.

Cracking pub question this. No handicaps, no advantages, nothing. If you were to play Luke Littler in an endless amount of legs - how many would it take until you eventually win a leg?

@MrDanielShannon @Jaack He averages less than a hundred over the course of one leg any time he throws more than 15 darts. So if you throw first and hit an 18 darter and he doesn’t finish in 15, you’ve got a leg
