@infinterenders Or could it that it's badly designed so much that it needed a blog post from Dan Abramov and a guide in the docs on how not to use it?

AI slop is modern tech debt. If you start your project with AI, you will end up with slop. But I have also seen AI struggle to keep best practices in existing codebases, with good structure.

you know how everything is made out of plastic and feels like crap but still technically works we've been headed this way with software for a while but at least we used to be embarrassed by it now people are proud of how much they don't care

Uppercasing letters and softening “MUST run” to “run” is proof that even Karpathy is not immune to doing rain dances to try to appease the unpredictable LLM gods. Talking to a computer used to be deterministic. Now you pray.
Kyunghyun Cho@kchonyc

thanks to @karpathy , now i have cracked the mystery why my agent doesn't follow my instruction closely enough.

Why is this so powerful? It lets you define scoped commands based on what the user sees on screen. - In Issues section, issue commands get boosted to the top - In Projects section, project commands get boosted ⌘K just renders it, logic is handled for it.
Jan Toman@HonzaTmn

Building a truly amazing command menu? Not easy. So, working on something new — an opinionated headless engine to handle all the logic outside of UI rendering. Contexts, deep search, scalable command registry, and more. First demo: contextual and conditional commands

Should I write a post about my year? It started insane and, it seems, it ends on an even more insane note (positive, thankfully).

Annnnnd one more reason to dislike Arsenal! - God isn’t “on your side” - God doesn’t exist
The New York Times@nytimes

From @TheAthleticFC: Noni Madueke is part of a sizeable group of Christian players at Arsenal. Some have become renowned for loudly and proudly speaking about their faith. The "Bible Brothers" are not hiding their belief and love of God. nyti.ms/4rGD4H8
