I’ve been a homesteader and a beach wanderer. There’s no way to monetize these thoughts.

He uses disagreement productively. Pushback is part of his thinking process. He is not necessarily rejecting the answer; he is testing whether it can bear weight.

AI helped me write this post. But not in the way you probably think. Most people use AI to write. Which is a HUGE mistake. Humans don't like AI writing. Search engines don't like AI writing. And I'd be willing to bet social networks will start to filter out AI content. So here's how I actually use it: I talk to it. Funny enough, this very post started with me just talking to Claude: saying what I think, in my own words, the way I'd actually say it. So I treat AI as my writing assistant. It helps me organize my thoughts. But the words are 100% mine. In fact, pretty much every word in this post came out of my own mouth or my own head. Not a prompt that said "write me a post about AI." And that's the difference between most AI slop and the content I create. The ideas are mine. The words are mine. AI just helps me get them out faster. 👍🏻

Transforming 75–100 square feet (about the size of a parking spot  ) into a place where a college student can sleep, study, eat, and relax is no small task... but challenge accepted. My daughter and I found healthier swaps for just about every dorm essential she needed - and many of them cost about the same as the conventional versions. If you're helping a student move in this fall, I put together a guide with Good, Better, and Best recommendations to make shopping a little easier. mommypotamus.com/dorm-room-esse…

CC Rules are unreasonable and the organization as a whole lacks vision. I could write 100 page essay on cc is too restricted for most families especially families with multiple kids. We were black ball and basically kicked out. They wouldn’t let a lieutenant marine Colonel and parent of 7 and my wife and mother of 6 who is female CEO of ~100 employees teach the children in the group because of minor CC imposed rule infractions. Foundations is great but beyond foundations. The organization is broken.

There is no better person to follow on X for homeschooling than Robert Bortins. Robert is the CEO of the largest curriculum provider in the world Classical Conversations, and he's spent years helping families take ownership of their children's education. I know Robert personally: He's a man who loves God, lives his faith, and wants to see families thrive. My own family uses Classical Conversations as our homeschool curriculum, and we've seen results firsthand. Before I built my business online, I spent 20 years teaching in public schools and earned a master's degree in education. I've seen what happens inside classrooms. I've sat through the meetings, the bureaucracy, the endless test prep, and everything parents never get to see. Robert is offers real solutions. If you're a parent who wants to raise capable, confident, faith-filled children, Robert is one of the voices you should be listening to. I fully endorse Classical Conversations, endorse Robert, and endorse his account. Stop what you're doing and give him a follow.

There's a level beyond freedom from tyranny. It's freedom to pursue purpose. It's not enough to be free "from" bad things. That just creates a void. You need to be free "to" your purpose and your calling.

Our Independence Day isn't about fireworks and barbecue. It's about the FIGHT FOR FREEDOM FROM TYRANNY. And that fight IS NEVER OVER. Here's JFK on July 4th, 1957 reading our entire Declaration of Independence. Happy 250th America 🇺🇸 May God give us the COURAGE TO BE FREE 🙏🏻
