AI automates tasks, not jobs, and when a task gets cheaper, demand for the job grows. AI cannot automate jobs end-to-end because it lacks autonomy and cannot operate without supervision. There is still zero job from 2022 that can be performed end-to-end by AI, not even translator or customer support associate.

"A decade ago, AI was supposed to replace radiologists. Today, radiologists make more than $500,000 per year, and their employment continues to grow, see chart below. Reading scans is a task, not a job, and when the task gets cheaper, demand for the job grows."

If your business can’t survive without you, it isn’t an asset. It’s a job. I talk to founders every day who are proud of being "in the weeds." They close every lead, ship the critical code, and manage every fire. In their minds, they are the MVP but in a buyer's eyes, they are a single point of failure. Think about it: If a buyer acquires your company and you walk away, does the engine stop running? If you are the only one who can sell, the revenue is at risk. If you are the only one who understands the code, the product is at risk. Buyers aren't buying you but rather they are buying a machine that prints money. If you are a critical gear in that machine, you’ve just slashed your valuation. The best thing you can do for your exit is to make yourself irrelevant. Delegation isn't just about productivity; it’s about increasing your multiple. A "turnkey" operation that runs without the founder is worth exponentially more than one that requires 80-hour weeks from the CEO. My challenge to you: Fire yourself from one department this month. Build a machine that doesn't need its creator. That’s how you get the exit you deserve. PS - We see the highest multiples go to "Founder-independent" startups at @acquiredotcom. If you’ve built a machine that runs on autopilot, there are over 500,000 buyers on our platform waiting to see it. Speak with our team today: acquire.com/guided-by-acqu…

People who are good at programming will use AI to take the jobs of those who are mediocre at it. So you should study CS iff you're going to be good at it.

@kaanuzdogan A loss like that would be brutal. But here's the thing - Ethereum can't afford to keep core layers centralized. Block validation has its own economy. Now build one for contract verification and another for data exploration and decentralize them. This has to come from the core.

@danielgimenez Definitely, although it is less of problem because the chain data is public unlike the verified contracts. If an explorer+verifier goes away the chain data is there but the contracts will be gone.

Why does @SourcifyEth exist? We believe contract verification ecosystem is stuck: centralized, closed-source, and held back by outdated tooling and siloed data In my latest blog post, I explain the problems, what we’ve built, and where we're heading in 2025. Post + summary 👇

@kaanuzdogan What about explorers? So much decentralization, and in the end, 99.9% of users are trusting a centralized one. Pretty wild, isn’t it?

Ethereum is built on open-source and decentralization. But contract verification has not kept up. Today: - Most-used verifier is not open-source - Verification mostly happens in a single location - Data is siloed not accessible - Tooling and APIs are old
