Iran’s ballistic missile capacity is functionally destroyed. Their navy assessed combat ineffective. Complete and total aerial dominance over Iran. Operation Epic Fury is yielding massive results. 🇺🇸

Zach Foster calls himself a ‘historian of Palestine’ but this is textbook selective cherry-picking not history, just advocacy. He strings together real old quotes and ops to the Litani River to insinuate Israel has some obsessive desire to grab Lebanon. That’s the clear agenda. A real historian wouldn’t omit the obvious: Israel has crushed every Arab coalition in major wars (1948, ’67, ’73, ’82). They seized the Golan Heights from Syria in 1967, held it through more fighting, and formally annexed it because it was a strategic artillery platform raining shells on Israeli civilians. If Israel actually “wanted” southern Lebanon the same way, they had overwhelming military dominance to seize it permanently in 1978, 1982 (when they rolled all the way to Beirut), or anytime since. They didn’t. They fully withdrew in 2000, UN-verified and left. The difference? Lebanon never gave coexistence a chance. Instead of securing its own border, it hosted every militant group bent on attacking Israel and ‘liberating the holy land’ from Lebanese territory: the PLO turned the south into ‘Fatahland’ (triggering the invasions), then Hezbollah (Iran-backed from day one, charter explicitly calling for Israel’s elimination), plus the rest. Those groups launched rockets, raids, and massacres for decades. Israel responded, then pulled out. Hezbollah rearmed anyway and escalated again (thousands of rockets post-Oct 7, 2023). The current 2026 push is just the latest reaction to that not a land grab. Actions have consequences. Selective history like this turns Israel’s proven restraint into propaganda. If he’s a historian i am the messiah

A brief history of IsraelI attempts to occupy Lebanon: 1919: Chaim Weizmann: "the Litani was 'essential to the future of the Jewish national home'." 1941: Ben-Gurion & Moshe Dayan advocated Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon up to the Litani. 1948: During the war, Ben-Gurion thought the Litani should be Israel's northern border; Israel occupied Lebanese territory, withdrew to Ras al-Naqura line due to diplomatic pressure. 1950s: Prime Minister Moshe Sharett wrote in his diary that Moshe Dayan's plan for the control of the Litani River was to "'enter Lebanon … the territory south of the Litani will be annexed to Israel.'" 1978: the Israeli army invaded south Lebanon up to the Litani River. A UN resolution forced withdrawal back to the border. 1982: Israel re-invades Lebanon, occupies the territory south of the Litani River, besieges Beirut, slaughtering thousands of civilians. Facilitated Sabra and Shatila massacres 1982-2000: Israel occupies southern Lebanon south of the Litani River, giving rise to Hezbollah, founded in 1982 in response to the Israeli invasion and belligerent military occupation of Lebanon. 2006: Israel re-invaded Lebanon again, but suffered heavy losses m, failing to re-occupy it. 2024-present: On 1 October 2024, Israel invaded Southern Lebanon again, tried to occupy the south, but couldn't advance very far due to heavy resistance, so instead bombs & terrorizes the country on a daily basis since. March 2026: Israel invades southern Lebanon AGAIN. March 2026: Israel plans to seize the entire area south of the Litani River in a “massive invasion” researchgate.net/profile/Jalal-

In #Lebanon, “But such declarations cannot immediately undo the fundamental imbalance of power that has defined #Lebanon’s security order for decades.” The government’s ban on #Hezbollah’s military activities reflects a major political step, but not an immediate solution to the deeper sovereignty crisis. Breaking of the fast isn’t holy. The fasting is. This is dinner. There isn’t enough dunking that can fully encapsulate the layers of ignorance and bigotry in this obsessed post. Also maybe stop literal navel gazing. That’s also something Muslims shouldn’t do. It’s called “mind your own business”.
Dr. Naomi Wolf. 8 NYT Bestsellers. DPhil, Poetry.@naomirwolf

Random juice jar on the Gracie Mansion table. Mayor's wife with exposed navel on what is supposed to be a very important Muslim holy day (and holy breaking of the fast). Islam sees modesty in dress as being linked to spiritual purity. More physical chemistry between these two than this newlywed and her husband. Everyone on this administration's calendar happens to revile both Jews and America. None none none of it adds up.

A vastly underappreciated benefit of spending all this time learning languages, analytical methods, regional histories, policy comparisons etc is absolutely far and away the moments where electricians tell me I'm wrong because Dear Leader & the Genocidal Sycophants told them so.

A Trump advisor was asked about Congress’s constitutional role in declaring war. The response: “Congress does not have a constitutional role in the declaration of war.” Ezra Klein quoted the Constitution directly: “The Congress shall have power to declare war.” Silence. Then: “The issue has to do with what was meant by ‘declare.’” This is the legal theory behind a war that has killed seven Americans, displaced 700,000 Lebanese, mined the Strait of Hormuz, and triggered the largest oil price spike in history. They don’t know what “declare” means. The Founders were very clear on what they meant. They had just fought a war started by a king acting alone. They wrote it down specifically so this could never happen again. Article One. Section Eight. “The Congress shall have power to declare war.” No ambiguity. No footnotes. No silence. Just a Trump advisor on a podcast rewriting the Constitution in real time.

Joint Statement The Foreign Ministers of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt condemn Israeli occupation authorities’ continued closure of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif to Muslim worshippers particularly during the holy month of Ramadan. Security restrictions on access to the Old City of Jerusalem and its places of worship coupled with discriminatory and arbitrary access restrictions to the other places of worship in the old city constitute a flagrant violation to international law, including international humanitarian law, the historical and legal status quo, and the principle of unrestricted access to places of worship. The Ministers affirmed their absolute rejection and condemnation of this illegal and unjustified measure, as well as Israel’s continued provocative actions at Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif and against worshippers. They stressed that Israel has no sovereignty over occupied Jerusalem or its Islamic and Christian holy sites. The Ministers reiterated that the entire area of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which amounts to 144 dunams, is a place of worship exclusively for Muslims, and that the Jerusalem Endowments and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs Department, affiliated with the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, is the legal entity with exclusive jurisdiction to administer the affairs of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque/Haram Al-Sharif and regulate entry to it. The Ministers called on Israel, as the occupying Power, to immediately cease the closure of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, remove access restrictions to the Old City of Jerusalem, and refrain from obstructing Muslim worshippers’ access to the mosque. They also called on the international community to adopt a firm position that compels Israel to halt its ongoing violations and illegal practices against Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, as well as its violations of the sanctity of these holy places. #Jordan
