There's an unfortunate game theory to a large civilization in that it requires hard work, ethical behavior, and deferral of gratification to build. But then eventually people start to forget that and think "why would I work hard when theres all this stuff here already? I should just be hedonistic". Slowly, the civilization starts to decay causing it to take care of people less, which causes more people to defect ("why should I take care of a system that doesn't care for me? Especially when there's so much fun to be had by neglecting it"), until eventually it collapses because everyone has defected.

Someone once observed that in any conflict, leftists will always side with whichever demographic causes the most social harm. This creates a hierarchy, with White men (the primary civilization-builders) at the bottom, and third-world Muslims at the top. Here's why how this works. In a healthy society, people who build civilization are revered, and people who cause social harm are despised. And there is a hierarchy that runs in the opposite order, with respect and resources going to those who serve civilization. This creates a natural opportunity for power-hungry subversives. They can recruit each layer of this hierarchy by exploiting their resentment against those above them. All they must do is frame their merit-based status as unearned "privilege". White women were recruited to leftism by stoking their resentment of White men, and promising elevation above them. What the White women were not told is that they would be placed beneath everyone else. Often literally. Black people were recruited by exploiting their resentment of Whites... but they weren't told that every benefit they received would eventually be taken away and given to third world immigrants. Homosexuals were promised elevation above the "breeders" (because children are needed for civilization, and sodomy is not), but no one told them that the trannies would rule over them. And no one told the trannies that Muslim community would be allowed to segregate and oppress them far more brutally than the most ardent of White bigots. The most brutal irony of all is that all of these groups who are recruited to fight for leftism end up far more brutally oppressed that they ever were by mainstream prosocial White society. Because natural civilizational hierarchies are based on contribution. There's a certain amount of prejudice which exists because people can reason inductively, but if you are a mixed race lesbian engineer who can actually who build useful shit, then it's at least possible for people to eventually overcome their surprise, and break you off a nice house in the suburbs and some forbearance wherein people don't really talk about the real relationship between you and your "roommate". Under leftism inverted hierarchies, you have no such chance. Sure, during the transitional phase you'll be elevated for being a mixed-race lesbian, regardless of whether you can do anything useful or not. But then, the Muslims will be allowed to throw you off a roof when it's time to pander to them, in turn. This White (or White-passing) woman probably voted straight democrat and cheered for "MeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeToo", to avenge her resentment against White men in general. She probably never dreamed that she would, in turn, not only be thrown under the bus, but that she would be targeted by the precise same weapons her sisters were given to unseat White men with. And @jk_rowling found out in vivid, larger-than-life detail what happens to White feminists when the left has a new darling to cater to, who can be used to unravel some still-intact piece of civilization. You see, by the early 21st century, the left had no more use for White feminists, because everything the left wanted to use them to destroy was already destroyed. Women were already spending their twenties and thirties on cubicle jobs and abortions, instead of marriages and children. The workforce was already doubled, and the price of labor had already crashed. Fertility rates were already dropping, and people were already marrying late, or never. It was time to recruit a new wrecking ball, to turn against some other corner of the edifice of order, and the price of that was easy to pay... just confiscate everything you once gave them, and give it to the trannies instead. The actual bodies of the White feminists (as well as all other women, and their daughters), could be used again, sold out to third world men who want to rape them, all by simply turning a blind eye. And the best perk of all of this is that they'll still vote for you. Because reversing course requires admitting a mistake.

Jordan Peterson just said the one thing no university on Earth wants you to hear. Peterson: “If you can think, and speak, and write, you are absolutely deadly. Nothing can get in your way.” Twelve years of school. Four years of university. Not one teacher ever pulled you aside and said the thing that matters. You were taught that writing is how you prove you followed the rules. Hit the word count. Match the rubric. Cite in APA. Pass the class. Peterson: “No one ever tells students why they should write something.” Because the real answer would dismantle the entire arrangement. Writing is not a subject. It is the physical shape of a thought. The words you can assemble are the only thoughts you get to think. Everything outside your vocabulary is a feeling you cannot name and a future you cannot plan. Every empire in history knew this. Priests guarded the alphabet. Kings outlawed the printing press. Slave owners made reading a crime punishable by death. They were not protecting paper. They were protecting obedience. The modern version is gentler. They put the weapon in your hands at age five and called it homework. Graded your grammar and ignored your mind. Spent two decades convincing you the most dangerous tool a human can hold was just another assignment. Peterson: “It’s the most powerful weapon you can possibly provide someone with.” A person who can articulate their own reality cannot be sold a borrowed one. That is the version of you the system cannot afford to create. You graduate able to write emails. Not your own life. Most people will spend their entire existence renting their thoughts from the few who learned what a sentence actually does. He said this from inside a University of Toronto lecture hall. Tenured professor. Twenty years. Nominated five consecutive years as one of Ontario’s best lecturers. Students called his courses life changing. The institution made him persona non grata and he walked away. The one professor who actually told you what the weapon does got pushed out for using it himself. That tells you everything about who the system was designed to protect. Not the students. Not the thinkers. The structure. Twenty years of education and the most important thing you were ever told came from a man the university couldn’t get rid of fast enough. The moment you force a true sentence out of yourself, unassigned and ungraded, you stop being written. You start being dangerous.

Harmonious Geometry: The Hirajoshi Wave. Watch as these gravity-defying spheres trace the hauntingly beautiful paths of the C Hirajoshi scale. Each ball is tuned to a specific frequency within this traditional Japanese pentatonic scale (C, D, Eb, G, Ab), creating a mesmerizing "Polyrhythmic Pendulum" effect. As the balls oscillate at slightly different speeds, they drift into chaotic patterns before perfectly realigning into a breathtaking visual and auditory climax. From the sharp, angular bounce to the fluid, sweeping curves of the rainbow trails, this is where physics meets fine art. Credit: project.jdm

Before it took off, the bird ate parts of its own liver, kidneys, and gut. That was the only way to be light enough to fly. Then it flew 8,425 miles from Alaska to Australia, in 11 days, without eating, drinking, or landing once. The bird is called B6. It's a bar-tailed godwit, four months old, weighing about as much as a can of beans. In October 2022, scientists at the US Geological Survey tracked its flight from Alaska all the way to Tasmania. The trip took 11 days and 1 hour. It is still the longest non-stop flight of any animal on Earth. For two weeks before takeoff, godwits eat until they almost double in weight. Fat ends up being 55% of their body, more than any bird ever measured. Then they shrink their own insides. About a quarter of their liver, kidneys, stomach, and intestines gets broken down and reused for fuel, making room for the extra fat and cutting weight. Their heart and wing muscles grow bigger at the same time. They never drink along the way. The water they need comes out of burning fat, the same reaction their muscles use for energy. They also never really sleep. B6 flapped its wings for 264 straight hours, cruising around 35 miles per hour with help from storm tailwinds. By the time it landed, it had lost almost half its body weight. The shrunken organs grew back over the following weeks. Scientists still cannot explain the navigation. B6 had never made this flight before. Adult godwits leave Alaska weeks earlier, so young birds fly alone with nobody to follow. How a four-month-old bird finds its way across 8,425 miles of open ocean to a place it has never seen is still an open question. About 100,000 bar-tailed godwits leave Alaska every fall. Most of them land in New Zealand or Australia 10 or 11 days later, having eaten parts of themselves to get there.
