Microsoft confirms "Update and Shut Down" was actually restarting Windows 11. If you have ever noticed Windows 11’s Update and Shut Down not actually shutting down your PC and restarting instead, you’re not alone. Many of us probably developed a little trust issue with that button because the PC kept bouncing back to the sign-in screen. Turns out it was a known issue with Windows 11 and even Windows 10. It's finally fixed. This fix will begin rolling out to everyone with this month's Patch Tuesday, scheduled for November 11. Requires Build 26200.7019 / 26100.7019 or newer.

@Pres3nc3 Even then it detects if the system is idle or not and notifies you that it's going to restart the computer. You still have the option to cancel the restart.

I've been a Windows user my whole life and not once did Windows install updates automatically during work hours. Not once!

Agree and would put money on HW3 not getting FSD in the UK. Why would they bother putting resources into it when HW3 and FSD12 in the US is good but missing a lot of features from FSD13. By the time it’s approved in the UK HW5 will be on the horizon and probably a Model 3 refresh with the additional bumper camera that the Juniper Y got

@RichardSndor @teslaeurope HW3 owners are going to get shafted. They will say HW3 cant fsd. And to add to that many with HW3 and the atom chip wont be able to run Grok Tesla could roll out an upgrade program, but I will bet they dont. They want us buying new ones

I’m convinced we won’t see FSD Supervised on HW3 cars in the UK. I hope I’m wrong but by the time it’s even approved HW5 will be on the horizon so why would they put in the effort. Even in the US HW3 is FSD 12 only, and they’ve said they will optimise the model if they can but it’s something like 3x bigger for FSD 13 right now. I really hope I'm wrong as even something similar to FSD 12 capabilities in the UK on HW3 would be awesome. Would imagine it’s a separate approval process too so just seems like it’d be too much work to do all this in the UK at this point when they could focus on the current and future hardware.

You make a good point. I also bought FSD years ago (2019), but I can also see it from the other side, if they update the cars that purchased FSD on HW3 now to bring them up to current spec, what if it needs a further update in the future for full implementation? It does make more sense to wait until they are sure its solved with the hardware they have as annoying as it is for us.

Why would Tesla make a hybrid when they have no infrastructure for building ICE vehicles? Especially considering cars aren’t even the long term future of the company? Plenty of others making hybrids (personally think it’s better to be all in EV or all in ICE on any single vehicle)

@mikepat711 Hopefully it's a hybrid. There is just no way that a complete plug-in car is feasible for me.

Basically Tesla is gonna have a low cost car ready to powerfuck at midnight on Sept 30th. And every other EV maker will be holding the back making unprofitable cars that cost 7500 more. Yikes

I must be getting mixed up with Groove music or other movie storefronts from others killed off around that era. I always said MS isn’t the place to buy movies from though, hopefully they keep renewing their own licenses for the content people have purchased (at least it’s a company that can afford to swallow that cost)

Prioritizing fun over performance just makes the Fun part not fun at all, In order for a game to fun performance needs to to be great. Nintendo fails once again, I hope reviewers take the performance issues into consideration.

@ToddNorthrop @ironmancro31695 @Tesla HW3 is nothing to do with Intel, they’re two different things. There’s HW3 cars with both Intel and Ryzen. Intel and Ryzen are the infotainment system / display chip.

@ironmancro31695 @Tesla HW3 is an Intel Atom chip. Better than most other cars on the road, but painfully slow compared to the AMD computer. Frankly, you're lucky to have gotten the upgrades you have gotten over the years. At this point you really need to upgrade your car if you want to keep up.

@ironmancro31695 @Tesla So you could catch up to the latest items AT THAT TIME. HW4 will be the same when HW5 comes out. HW4 will get HW5 upgrades like HW2 got HW3. You get cut off after a while
