@naeemahzak #POEcap I used literature found during my research to support the statement that unique perspectives and ideas are highlighted by BIPOC students backgrounds. The cultures and upbringings of these students bring variety and different cultures to the workplace.

@mattijs_holler #POEcap My results included a detailed catalogue with programs and opportunities available at the UW to aid NOAA's outreach and recruitment of minority and underrepresented students. My site supervisors hope to share that catalogue with their DEI team to increase diversity soon!

Earlier this quarter I had the pleasure of listening to Joe Arvidson at a conference who is a seaweed farmer (related to my capstone research) and an attorney (my intended profession). So interesting to hear about the connections! #ENVIR492

@christineh0ang I think because I have early morning classes my sleep schedule HAS to be decent, but I recommend trying to get in bed earlier so you have time to get sleepy, and minimize electronic use right before bed. Tip for all #ENVIR492 peers :)

Hi @juliantreasure! I recently read an article about some of your work incorporating bird songs into business soundscapes. Such intriguing work! I was wondering - do you have any ideas as to how we could harness the power of bird songs in a fashion other than recordings?
