Huge respect to @jasonmdesimone and @TheArena team for pushing for clean structures, asking the right questions, and helping design a launch that actually protects the ecosystem. We want $CAPY to be the community coin people can believe in. Based on simulations and tokenomics changes (100M ⟶ 10b tokens), we decided to update the supply distribution, in order to reduce the negative price impact of the JEETs, and to reward long-term holders and real usage: • Increased liquidity from @capysword for higher value. Presale allocation reduced from 40% → 20% (less tokens that are worth more $, to give a strong upside to presalers while keeping the control). • Public treasury increased to 55% for long-term stability and rewards. The real players are the ones we want to bless, not farmers. → If we do an Ambassador Program, it will be paid from protocol revenue, not from the public treasury. Token stays for the community. • With 15% of team allocation fully locked in a 1 Year Visible Vesting Contract, 55% of public treasury and 20% of public Presale airdrop, that's 90% of max supply visible at launch for full transparency. • The remaining 10% being Arena liquidity (Uniswap pool), and Arena champs airdrop. Yesterday's AMA was long, transparent, and every question got answered. The replay is available, and the feedback has been extremely positive. Thank you all for your support 🍊 Here are some of the main questions: 1) "What makes Capy Sword different from a memecoin?" The key differences are utility and absence of team-driven sell pressure. Basically, for a normal memecoin, the only way for a team to make a profit is to sell. Capy Sword is designed to generate real revenue through the game itself, with a 1% protocol fee, so there is no need to sell tokens to generate revenue. That's why we're locking all of the team's tokens in a Visible Vesting Contract, to prove that we're here for the long run, preventing us from selling any $CAPY at launch. $CAPY is also deflationary, with 1.5% of all $AVAX wagered on Capy Sword used to buyback and burn the token, making it scarcer for holders, and enjoyable to hold with peace of mind. Finally, tokens can be used in the game to purchase cosmetic items and improve your ranking (without being Pay2win, in order to ensure fairness for smaller players). Ofc there's no such thing as magic money. If the $CAPY token continues to grow, it's because there's money somewhere. In crypto, every dollar earned is someone else's loss. The money that will buyback $CAPY comes from the loser of every duel. Because each game is an on-chain event with a real $AVAX wager: One player wins, one player loses, and the small fee drives the entire ecosystem forward. The $CAPY token becomes stronger as players play. 2) "Why limit the presale to 300 spots when thousands want to participate?" These funds are sufficient to develop a high-quality game with real artists, not AI, because we are convinced that a game with soul, artistic direction, and authentic music will appeal to the community. The project is 100% community-funded and organic, with no VC or "cabal" backing. We prioritize giving presale participants a meaningful upside to help organically market the game. 20% of the total supply is allocated to the presale, ensuring individual allocations are small enough to limit sell pressure while still offering strong upside. In addition to the liquidity, we have the necessary funding to continue post-launch development, including new content/skins, additional degen games so that the first one doesn't become boring, a mobile version with different languages for Capy Sword to be accessible worldwide, while continuing to post art and memes made by real artists. 3) "Is there a Discord / GC / Telegram planned for the community?" No. The Capy Sword website will serve as the main social hub. It features a built-in chat on the left side of the screen, where users log in via X. Players can chat, use custom Capy emotes, and spectate in real time. Even without playing, any member of the AVAX community can log in to enjoy the village music, chat with online users, customize their capybara, and watch others play and battle. 4) "When TGE?" ETA: January 2026 We are releasing the game before the token because we want to deliver a real product, not just sell hype. Prior to the token launch, we will run stress tests to ensure the game can handle heavy traffic and to identify any potential issues. For user security and accessibility, players will not connect to Capy Sword using their own wallets. Instead, they will log in via X using @privy_io, a wallet infrastructure solution that automatically generates a wallet for each user, which they can fund. Capy Sword is being built the right way. Slow cook, real product, clean launch. @avax deserves a cultural dApp that lasts. One that puts players first, rewards real usage, and restores trust through structure and execution. @capysword is here to raise the bar for what’s possible on AVAX. Are you ready?
