@jasonfried @designertom I wish, I love basecamp. But Claude has no ability to work inside of it.
English

@designertom Tommy, it's Basecamp.
Let me show you sometime.

Would you consider donating to Congregation Hub?
I've been working for years on creating free software to help churches. It's cost me thousands and costs hundreds every month to keep going.
We've begun setting up a 501c3 for this (with several other pastors as the board) so donations will be tax deductible.

@Artedeingenio Can we please make a full LOTR movie with Grok Imagine
English

@jasonfried I love basecamp. I especially love how modular it is, the whole paradigm around tools is amazing. And it really lends itself to third-party tools. I can see a world where people develop their own tools for Basecamp that are available to everyone in a marketplace.
But maybe that's what you are cooking up in the next version of Basecamp. 🙏

We wept bitterly putting this together...
Charlie Kirk did not fear death. Charlie told us what his legacy would be. Charlie's greatest passion was his faith in Jesus Christ.
Just hours before he was assassinated, Charlie stood on stage, openly proclaiming his love for Jesus Christ. Unafraid, unwavering, and full of conviction. He lived every moment guided by that faith, and in the end, he was taken home by his Savior.
Charlie is a true Christian martyr.
His example is not just inspiring, it is a call to all of us. To stand firm in our beliefs, to shine light into darkness, speak truth and to live boldly in our faith. Charlie showed us what it means to live, and die, with purpose.
This is the legacy he leaves...

Fizzy’s looking amazing.
My biggest concern with the middle column is that it becomes unorganized, never-ending to do list. I believe getting real you make a statement about why you don’t like canny.io type tools for this reason.
There is value in forcing decisions.

Here's a video look at an idea we're exploring prior to shipping Fizzy 1.0. Internally we're calling it Streams and Shores.
In the pre-1.0 product development process, there are typically two great times to try unusual ideas. Early and late. Early because nothing is formed yet and anything is possible, and late because if you don't do it then, the concrete will firm up. Breaking it apart after a 1.0 is quite jarring.
I go into this approach, and walk through the new idea in the video below. Let me know if you have any questions.

@paulsaladinomd @grok can you give me a quick breakdown of each water mentioned in the video. And a quick summary of the final findings.

ChatGPT 5 in @lovable sucks. Spent about 12hrs today in Lovable and tried ChatGPT 5 and it slowed everything down and got very mixed results.
Claude Code is the GOAT 🐐

@adamwathan You are right up there with the guy who put Papyrus in Microsoft Word back in 1998 🤣

I'd like to formally apologize for making every button in Tailwind UI `bg-indigo-500` five years ago, leading to every AI generated UI on earth also being indigo.

So, GPT-5 hasn’t solved the "purple problem"

@mehtasdeepak Hey, super inspired by your whole journey. I'm going over and giving it an upvote.
English

@weswinder @lovable Correct, 100% -- it should be optional. I don't think it should be on for everybody at the same time. For those crazy vibe coders out there, let them have at it.
English

@danirmler @lovable this should be something the user can config in the settings
i would imagine a lot of their users would prefer to immediately just see it build things without thinking
but super necessary to have this for power users
English

@lovable hey, it'd be awesome if there's a way to make chat the default state. So, I don't need to click on it every time.
Currently I'm choosing chat by default for about 80% of my conversations.
