Week 1 is done. Week 2 is locked and loaded. 10 teams. 2 minutes each. Pitch in front of the crowd, get roasted, survive. But the roast? That was just the warmup. Here's the full Week 2 lineup, 11 sessions at Solana Network State Spring 2026 🧵👇

thinking of making a groupchat for all teams building agentic tools on @solana to share distribution flows, agentic workflows, localize new ai-first tooling into crypto, and see how we can continue building the agentic economy on solana

Aligned, PMMs have long served as that "internal context" layer, but AI is pushing the role even further. Going forward, I see PMMs owning the design and maintenance of how context is captured, categorized, and kept alive on autopilot. Right now it's messy: ChatGPT/Claude may pull stuff from Slack, Notion, Coda, docs, or whatever tool they're in, and often grab incomplete or outdated context What we'll need is a persistent, always-on platform/agent that maintains a single source of truth for user mindset, market signals, competitive gaps, etc. - and updates it automatically as new data comes in In the transition phase, this could look like an agent that reviews every new piece of context (research, feedback, competitor moves), suggests what should be promoted to "core/recurring context," and handles automated updates - with the PMM acting as the final reviewer This would probably shrink marketing teams significantly while PMMs, but optimistically PMMs would then be able to spend less time maintaining stuff and more time on creative, high-leverage thinking

I'm building up my Product Marketers network. I’ve been thinking deeply about how the role of PMM changes with AI and new emergent org structures (flatter, mini companies within one company, etc). In the following I'm outlining a general ops flow, not specific to consumer or B2B. When advising with operators hiring for PMMs (especially in crypto), I've found they are usually looking for a general marketer who can translate technical specs into normal words or someone to run gtm coordination. Usually with a writing background specifically for use cases and customer comms. This is a tiny fraction of product marketing. Product marketing is the one function that cannot operate alone. As a founding marketing hire, PMMs are exceptional as they can often do a lot with a little but this doesn’t scale even with AI. You still need partnerships, brand, social, and—more recently— gtm eng to take narrative and positioning to market. To level set definitions: PMMs are typically responsible for marketing strategy for incoming roadmap (target audience, positioning, channel strat, etc) and team-wide coherence; while a PM is the deep product owner responsible for developing a product, launching, planning and managing it through its lifecycle. PMM skills absolutely translate to product thinking. While the function has always varied from team to team, any experienced PMM has an intuitive knowledge and understanding of: + user mindset and market context + competitive gaps for feature development + onboarding + viral loops + in-product education + habit formation + ruthless prioritization In this new era of AI where anyone can build, PMMs will more consistently be a horizontal operator who can work across products as an internal context layer as well as prototype in collaboration with PED. While their core output may not be features and products, they’ll prototype opportunities / ideas with PMs who pioneer on via new rapid development workflows. What gets on the shelf is still owned by PED, how the product is marketed, is still owned by PMM. With AI, I believe that means that product marketing talent must also know how to build and candidates will come with their own product portfolios as a new standard. That said, I don’t believe this will be true for PM candidates having to show their marketing chops. Operationally, the baton still exists between PED and PMMs, with PMMs superpowers driving narrative and marketing across multiple product orgs. The bar is raised significantly for what a good PMM must be. The new baseline skill is closer to a Principal or Portfolio PMM as things like market sizing, competitive intel, product content, and sales enablement can be initiated by agents. If you are: + an exec with a product marketing background + career product marketer + or if you're aspiring to break into product marketing my DMs are open—I'd love to learn more about you, what your flavor of pmm looks like, and how you’re thinking about the future of product marketing!

I think every agent might get a usdc wallet I know crypto is lame. I know combing AI and crypto sounds lame But I did just this yesterday and had a very magical product experience
Steve Krouse@stevekrouse

I've been hearing the phrase "every agent is a coding agent" more and more. I wonder when that became widely accepted (In the same way every agent has thinking and multi tools and search etc built in) I wonder what primitive is coming soon to every agent near you

Most of the current flavor of agentic crypto products are deeply unimpressive. Idgaf about agentic “payments” or “launchpads” I want to deposit $1k into an agentic vault and let it 100x my capital. This is literally the number 1 thing crypto x AI builders should be focused on.
