@danmilleruk Hi Dan, we are very sorry to hear this. Please may you DM us with the hotel in question so we can further look into this? Many thanks in advance - Jade
@TravelodgeUK A tree on the land where one of your properties is situated has partially collapsed in to my back garden. What is the best way to get in touch with someone your side?
@TalkTalk Thanks for your reply.
If your status page was updated to reflect these issues, it might make people feel confident the issue is being worked on.
Currently there is nothing on the status site.
@danmilleruk Hey Dan Miller, thanks for reaching out. We hope you are well.
We are sorry to hear that, as well as any other inconveniences caused.
Please be assured we are working to fix it as quickly as possible as it linked to a network outage incident affecting... talktalk.response.lithium.com/portal/convers…
@TalkTalk UFO dropped out in the entirety of York. Multiple reports, no maintenance or known issues posted.
Is this a known issue and is there an ETA for resolution?
@eleanorcoultish I’m still knocked out completely, also since Sunday. It’s not COVID and doesn’t seem like flu to me. Now Scarlett has come down with it! 😧
Hope you feel better soon!
@fatrat It’s our FlexiLeave app. With most staff using it now - DAUs should be around that mark.
There is also status.york.ac.uk, which has its own benefits by sitting on separate resilient infrastructure to campus.
@fatrat Not forgetting our good old friend, “scale to zero”!
Our most popular app, now with 6-8k DAUs, costs us around $20/month to run. Other than continuous dev, there is very little in terms of ongoing maintenance cost.
You know all this, but I can’t pass a serverless thread by.
@rpf25@fatrat@vodafone Fortunately there is plenty of competition around here.
I’m waiting for A&A to finalise their CityFibre arrangements and holding on to legacy TalkTalk (for now).
@fatrat@danmilleruk@vodafone Shame, they’re now offering fibre in my village, but with such glowing reviews I think I’ll wait until there’s competition…
@danmilleruk Lol. Now that's service!
It did work fleetingly, insomuch it showed nonsense numbers for a bit. Then it rebooted and has done nothing since.
Bit shit. I shan't hold out much hope.
@danmilleruk Conceptually not a terrible idea I suppose. Neatens up the cabling (never a bad thing). Apparently it's an optional thing? Again I suppose not a terrible idea, given the proliferation of wifi.
Still Bloody Apple.
