@PeteWil52408518 @perseverare1776 Yep that’s what I thought too. Always figured it was something gay women liked so other gay women got them to attract and signal their sexuality? Never met a straight male that liked them even on the most attractive women.
English

@perseverare1776 I don’t know it doesn’t bother me but when I see one on a woman I presume she is gay. Like it’s worn as a symbol to say men I’m not interested!

@_ToddBeane Just need to keep him away from the National team coach and he will be fine. Did the National team staff really try to give him pain killers so he could play though injury?

I hope Lamine Yamal has the discipline required to maximize his potential for a long career.
There are some early signs that make me wonder. I hope I am mistaken. Success so early can derail the most ambitious dreams.

@AFKHuckleBerry @clownworld Cell Phones and smart/Apple Watches are banned in public Highschools in over 30 states so far from being used anywhere on campus.
English

@clownworld How long until schools implement rules to say recording during class isn’t allowed?
English

@ilovesocceryoyo @Don_K_Williams It would create a structure to allow for investment financially and emotionally by Americans to support their local teams/schools. Our current structure is very closed off, like the other American sports which are starting to be dominated by players from open merit based systems.
English

@danny_audionerd @Don_K_Williams How would a pyramid change anything if all Americans really care about is top league and top quality anyways?
English

@ilovesocceryoyo @Don_K_Williams Agree, nobody watches American soccer in general. Having a proper soccer pyramid is the first step in changing this.
English

@danny_audionerd @Don_K_Williams USL is a professional league and has none. MLS the best only pays out $5 million a team.
What money? No one watches college soccer.
English

@Don_K_Williams NIL is paid by 3rd party and isn’t based upon League revenue. Be cool to see a D1 school work their way up and get promoted to Top league. Or a D3 school get promoted to compete with D1 programs. Plus would open pathway for USL, UPSL … USA needs merit based pro leagues.
English

@danny_audionerd College athletes can already get paid to play. NIL and Revenue sharing are already in place
English

@ilovesocceryoyo @Don_K_Williams The club/school that is getting paid a share of the league revenue (TV,
Advertising and merchandise rights) same way it’s done in every other country.
English

@danny_audionerd @Don_K_Williams Who would pay them?
English

@kmore17799891 @RCI99 @MLSMoves Staff shouldn’t get involved in player scuffles … his teammates were right there and didn’t throw any punches.
English

@danny_audionerd @RCI99 @MLSMoves Beacuse he had our player in a headlock and wasn’t letting him go and he was turning purple that’s why
English

@FrancoPanizo It’s almost like Seattle staff was on the field punching players?

Going to be a long night for VAR The manner in which you accept defeat says a lot, in my opinion Fans are constantly told Messi and his friends coming to MLS is the best thing to ever happen to this league. I wonder how many long-time MLS fans agree with that
English

If Inter Miami wasn’t already the ‘Villains of the MLS’, the team sure is that now.
Deplorable what transpired after the full-time whistle — which will only fuel opposing fans’ disdain for Messi and Co. going forward.

@RCI99 @MLSMoves What about the Seattle staff that was throwing punches? Lifetime ban if you are calling for him to be expelled for spitting?

@stardustnf @atom_jarvis @K9Irma @ChallengeBelief @allenanalysis So article says you can ship to these country’s they just won’t ship anything into the USA until they update their systems to calculate the tariffs. You can also send person to person just not European business into USA customer.
English

@jc_playmakerWNY @LNHS_M_Soccer True but if you teach & train players to take the extra touches, get all the way to the end line, hips around pass to the “open lane”.. the rest kinda falls into place. Too many players panic and drive a square ball right to the goal keeper or over hit it to infinity and beyond.
English

@LNHS_M_Soccer @danny_audionerd I’m not even talking about that situation. I’m just talking about the technique of being able to clip a ball to the back post without missing the entire field.
For the slotted ball to work there has to be someone there. Which there isn’t anyone there most of the time.
English

@DerrickEvans4WV More Homework, Less in class WORK. More in class interaction between teachers and students. More time for Physical Education, student social interactions and recess.
English

@DaveKnox02 @CoachJonnyFFF Disagree! At least at grassroots/Club level. Always go by the 3 L’s of coaching. NO laps, lines or lectures. But once you’re above age 13 starting with a slow 2-3 minute warmup jog to get their mind right is key in my experience.
English

@CoachJonnyFFF Really annoys me when I see any age groups doing laps if honest. So much more you can do but like everything it's down to the coaches preference. The amount of different movements the kids get from tag games is so beneficial
English

@mattdanaher For sure that is an issue with any sized activities. Need to have a proper play to rest ratio. It’s all in how you structure the activity that determines the rate of reps the players are getting.
English

@danny_audionerd Right, but if you overload players in 1v1/2v2 early on, you are potentially risking injury, just like you would be if you over run them on the track or with loads of fitness tests.
