@AndrewHeaters What do you think about them trying to resign Stanley and/or Schenn? Still fills the roles and the guys are already in the system and could be cheap

I’ve seen some hate/concern on Jarmo regarding his trade for Stanley and Schenn. He was trying to add some beef to this lineup to compete in a series with bruisers like the Lightning. Took a big swing for Robby Thomas and Parayko but both fell through. Stanley and Schenn were fellas on expiring deals that were bruisers that could hopefully answer the bell if a series came down to that. Bruins and Habs series didn’t have any of that. I do think they will need to add some additional beef in the offseason as both the Lightning and Panthers are coming fellas. And you’re gonna need to defend your turf and your stars. #LetsGoBuffalo

@Sabrestalkv2 I think hes still worthwhile to try and keep for the right price. Hes still loved and respected in the locker room and is a leader amongst them. Hes not worth paying what he wants until 38, but if they can get the number down you get him for sure

The Sabres are the exact team that are in a position to let a guy like this walk. He’s 30 and wants a shit ton of money until he’s 38! The Sabres have multiple young players primed to take a bigger role in Helenius/Ostlund/Kulich and then players like Doan/Benson/Quinn continuing to grow and can take up for lost production. So in short, if Tuch walks there literally is no better team ready to take that hit lol.

@NotTheJoeMarino I think if they make the playoffs again next year, and UPL is the starting goalie, you see a much more confident backstop throughout the playoffs, UPL looked like he was suffering from nerves the most. Being able to have been through it will help him the most

The final 4 goaltenders • Frederik Andersen • Jakub Dobeš • Scott Wedgewood • Carter Hart I don’t think the Sabres need to get some elite tier goalie this offseason. Just get someone you can actually rely on

@Sabremetrix How much of it do you think is the team around him though, blue jackets are always suspect as a franchise. Hellebuyck with a good team in the Olympics was outstanding. For the right price thats a bet im willing to make

I can tell there are newer hockey fans here because I’ve seen trade proposals for Connor Hellebuyck due to the Sabres playoff goaltending

If a team were to intentionally wear an unauthorized uniform, it would be handled as an administrative or equipment violation rather than an on-ice penalty. The organization would likely face severe undisclosed fines from the league rather than a delay of game or minor penalty. Just an FYI to those wondering what would happen if they were to come out in the goat heads tonight. I’m sure they have inquired what the actual fines would cost. We shall see tonight 👀🔥
