His mother, who had raised him as a single parent and worked tirelessly to support his education, passed away in 2016 from complications of pneumonia. She had always dreamed of attending his graduation, but sadly did not live to see it. Paulo John, a graduate of Lyceum of the Philippines University, fulfilled her wish in the most heartfelt way possible.
