We are not made for leisure, the dream of passive income is a scam, life isn’t meant to be lived passively. Like exercise, there is no progress without resistance. Rather than dreaming of “freedom From work” what you really want is “freedom TO work” but… on the things that excite and interest you. Getting stoned and playing video games isn’t it.

After reading many critical responses, I think the difference is I grew up in the institutional world (Bernstein, Alliance, Goldman Sachs, Janus) where one is required to discuss both the positive and the negative aspects of stocks one is long. Look back at my tweets: I try hard to provide an even balance between positive and negative. If you can’t tolerate seeing my negative views on $TSLA, then please unfollow or mute me, since that is normal at institutional shops.

I have never criticized Elon. $TSLA is one of our top 5 positions and if I had serious issues with management’s ability to execute, I wouldn’t own the stock. I think you are very naive about the institutional research process. If you are long the name, you need to be able to present both the bull and bear arguments. You must be willing to present what the company is doing right and what the company is doing wrong, or you’ll have no credibility on your investment team. You and many other Johnny-come-lately TSLA bulls incorrectly misinterpret my presenting the bear case as criticizing Elon. If I was prone to criticizing Elon, why do I get invited to every TSLA event, and why does IR call me back when I call them with a question? That’s the institutional research process. You clearly don’t get it. TSLA has been one of our top positions since we launched our ETF in 2021. Our sell discipline is to trim when the stock rises, and to buy when it falls. That’s portfolio management.

@NickADobos Kinda see what he was trying to do. GPTs are limited to plus subscribers and plus signups are frozen so maybe he was just trying to be helpful and share, but should have reached out before or taken another approach.

Reverse engineering Grimoire’s prompt to learn how it works and make your version is one thing But -republishing my code w/o consent -copy pasting it directly -to market your tool -to steal my product -in order to avoid paying OpenAI (& me with revenue share) Is fucking shitty. Do I need to add a license to my prompt? Am I overreacting here? Leeches man… Do better.

@OpenAI I've tried it and it's both amazing and insanely frustrating since it will start answering when I am mid-sentance. Please add the ability to add a stop word or at least let us control the length of time after a pause to send the query. Thanks!

Seems custom GPTs may offers some SEO opportunities. Seeing a lot of the top GPTs get decent rankings and get a good share of organic traffic. And even for non AI keywords - ChatGPT is often ranking in top 3-6. Like this one - A Custom GPT ranked 3rd.
