Hey @FirstStreetFdn - curious how my place ended up with a 9/10 flood risk and 8/10 fire risk 🤔 It’s~500ft above a seasonal creek with no history of flooding, and fire comes close nearly every year. I work with water data, so would love to understand the logic behind this!

What started as a quick question to @gregspierce and @kbdobbin is now a new paper! Who can domestic well users turn to when their well goes dry? Turns out, not many places exist. We need more data, research, awareness/accountability, and assistance programs in the Southwest.

This very cool bill made it through the house and senate, only to be vetoed by Gov Stitt. This is why OK can't have nice things.

Check out our new paper, modeling water systems to support a climate-resilient WECC grid.
