OMG. I had to triple check to make sure this just happened at the UN, and it wasn't from 2020. Ben Affleck's daughter is demanding that countries around the world bring back covid mask mandates 😂

The primary distinction between a dry sauna (Finnish sauna, with 10-20% relative humidity) and a wet sauna (steam bath, with relative humidity approaching 100%) lies in the latter's prevention of sweat evaporation, thus eliminating the natural cooling mechanism. Consequently, wet saunas (steam baths) are more intense and carry a greater risk of heatstroke. Currently, the preference for dry saunas as a potential longevity intervention is supported by the following: 1) Dry saunas have been more extensively researched, particularly in long-term population studies, largely due to their widespread and regular use in Finland. 2) The strongest evidence for dry sauna benefits is associated with high temperatures (178-210 °F or 81-100 °C), which cannot be safely achieved in wet saunas (steam baths) where temperatures should remain below 115°F (46°C). 3) Steam baths present higher risks of waterborne chemical contamination, irritation (if used with hard water) and infection risk, requiring more rigorous maintenance to ensure safety. A notable exception is that steam baths, especially those incorporating herbal oils, may be beneficial for relieving nasal, sinus, and airway congestion, although the evidence for this remains inconclusive. In summary, dry saunas are supported by the strongest evidence, particularly at high temperatures that cannot be safely achieved in wet saunas due to the risk of hyperthermia. Wet saunas carry additional risks related to potential chemical contamination in the water, systemic absorption at high temperatures, and possible infections if maintenance is inadequate. However, wet saunas may offer a benefit for relieving nasal and airway congestion.

This Belief Holds You Back From Back Pain Recovery

Progress ≠ perfection. Recovery isn’t a straight line.

You need to stop:

❌ Expecting to feel 100% better in a week
❌ Quitting when results aren’t instant
❌ Thinking setbacks = failure

Real recovery takes time.

Why Quick Fixes Keep You Stuck In Back Pain 🚫💊 ⚠️Painkillers only numb symptoms, they don’t fix weakness or instability ⚠️Too much rest = weaker muscles and higher reinjury risk ⚠️Stretching tight muscles can backfire, as tightness can means weakness, not flexibility issues
