I’ve been at the PGA Show for five hours and I’ve started a blue blazer/khaki pants count. A whopping 229 people so far, of which I’d estimate ~30% of people wearing a blazer count into that. Egregious, but maybe it’s become so meme’d on that it’s kinda cool. Clones!

Thoughts from Amex: - An amateur winning in this day and age is absurd. Playing in the final round with JT and Sam, that’s real pressure especially on those closing holes. Serious congrats to Nick. -Playing that 3rd day with ams was prob beneficial. The pressure doesn’t build as much when you have the same pro pairing and 2 ams in the group. It’s a different feeling in that last group. Not that it takes anything away from the win, just a thought. -Happy to get a top 10 finish. My game didn’t “feel” great but feel isn’t real and that final day I was able to figure out what worked for my swing. 72 holes is a long time and I was making adjustments throughout the week to see what was working for me. -Sometimes I do wonder about the course set up. The final day, couple tee boxes were moved up and I’m not sure why. Pin locations are one thing because of ams but tee box set up is another. - 30 under is what you get when there’s zero wind, really good greens and an easier golf course. That is soo many birdies lol - One of the Ams this week was a follower haha. That was cool. I really do enjoy playing with most of the Ams. They are much more interesting than the pros 😂
