But Zelensky leaned into it — specifically the tariff concerns that Dems have. I’m told that, heading into the vote & the Zelensky meeting, the lead Dem sponsors believed based on the whip count on their side that the high water mark was in the mid 70s, with the built-in assumption that just 1 or 2 R’s would be against. Senators & aides I’ve spoken with said Zelensky’s pitch flipped many more Dem skeptics than they thought was possible. Of the 20 or so Dems who were either skeptical or a hard no, 9 ended up voting to advance the bill after the Zelensky meeting.

Dog was on his own property, there was zero reason for a leash. I’ve had plenty of dogs come at me like that just to get close and be loud. It’s pure assumption that the dog meant harm. And for the driver to then take an immediate aggressive stand against a guy that doesn’t appear aggressive at all…? Nope. Personally, I’d have tossed that guy a beating.

Sorry, the UPS driver is _completely_ in the wrong. If he's that concerned about the dog? Don't deliver. And if he's willing to square up with the owner, with the dog running loose, he wasn't scared of the dog in the first place. He needs to be fired, for his own safety. If you're gonna be that aggressive on someone else's property, you're going to either generate massive liability for your employer, or you're going to get hurt. Or both.
