Trump wants to suspend the federal gas tax to give Americans relief at the pump. 18.4 cents per gallon. Gone. Congress has to approve it. The same Congress that approved billions for Ukraine, billions for foreign aid, billions for everything except the American people. Let's see what they do.

@The_FJC The US hasn't paid $530 billion to anyone to defend them. I'd the US wants to fully leave Europe off they go as I think European countries can look after themselves. Give Europe 10 years and its military will be very impressive. The US is going to become less relevant.

Europe owes an immense debt to the United States, United Kingdom and the English speaking world for its liberation from Nazi tyranny. That is what should be celebrated this month in every European country.

The same political class that spent years saying America was systemically evil now expects that same “evil” country to: protect global shipping, deter Iran, arm Europe, stabilize energy markets, secure Taiwan, fight terrorism, and prevent World War III. That’s the real scam underneath modern anti-Americanism. They don’t actually hate American power. They just want Americans ashamed enough to keep paying for it quietly.

@The_FJC Who said it's a betrayal? I actually think we don't need US Troops in Europe anymore as Russia isn't an issue and they definitely aren't going to attack Germany. But it was OK to use black sites in Poland to bring prisoners who the US couldn't bring to the US.

Germany is the 4th largest economy on earth. Built under American military protection. Defended for generations by U.S. troops. Now 5,000 troops leave and it’s a “betrayal.” The nerve of these people is unbelievable.

@The_FJC The only ones complaining are the US, and nobody ever asked them to fund NATO. They took on all that because they wanted to be the biggest player on the world scene. But look at what Iran has done, stopped the US in its tracks, even with all it military power.

NATO only works because of the United States. Funded. Led. Enforced by American power. Then members criticize U.S. strategy. Replace it or stop complaining. Pick one.

Europe imports most of its oil from the Persian Gulf. The US is an oil exporter. For Europe not to assist the US with its minesweepers and minehunters just because Donald Trump was not polite and reacted poorly to criticism, is extremely frivolous, and costly
