Non-breaking spaces (` `) in runs of text are one of the most common reasons I see for a page failing 1.4.12 Text Spacing. It means text will not wrap as the spacing expands. WYSIWYG authors often miss these and CMSes do a poor job flagging/replacing them.

You cannot talk about diversity and ignore disabled people. You cannot talk about equity and ignore disabled people. You cannot talk about inclusion and ignore disabled people. Excluding disabled people doesn’t promote diversity, equity and inclusion. It promotes ableism.

sadly many accessibility tag attributes didn't get added until PDF became an open document format, so knowledge is often kept in the hands of only "experts" still

Constantly I'm reminded that any course having to do with creating PDF forms really needs a good accessibility lesson on proper tagging and formatting. It seems like no one knows how to do it except a few. Believe me, it really is possible, but the majority just has no clue.
