The monarchy's racism, colonialism and genocide are the backdrop for etiquette rules that labeled Meghan "difficult, rude and abrasive." It's "a world where she could only be herself by leaving." My thoughts on race and the royals 👇🏾 voice-online.co.uk/opinion/commen…

Accessibility isn't a project; it's a process. Buy-in from decision makers is a huge component. However, with a strong strategy, you can begin making your digital assets usable to people with disabilities. Learn more: tpgi.com/accessibility-… #accessibility

People with disabilities are more likely to succeed when they work alongside people without disabilities and are paid fairly for their work. It's long past time we end the discriminatory practice of subminimum wages for people with disabilities. nytimes.com/2023/01/04/opi…

Non-breaking spaces (` `) in runs of text are one of the most common reasons I see for a page failing 1.4.12 Text Spacing. It means text will not wrap as the spacing expands. WYSIWYG authors often miss these and CMSes do a poor job flagging/replacing them.

Hey Smart Speaker? Yes you, I'm talking to you. If I ask you a question, please don't send a link to my phone. If you can't answer, just say so. If I had wanted to use my phone, I wouldn't have asked you in the first place. k? k. thxbby.

Since she was a little girl, men have been making “jokes” about wanting to rape Greta Thunberg. These “jokes” are rape culture. Men use sexual violence as a threat and a punchline when women and girls do things they don’t like.

You cannot talk about diversity and ignore disabled people. You cannot talk about equity and ignore disabled people. You cannot talk about inclusion and ignore disabled people. Excluding disabled people doesn’t promote diversity, equity and inclusion. It promotes ableism.

your regular reminder that "get someone to do it for you" is not an ideal response to accessibility issues. I do not have nondisabled people on retainer to help me navigate your inaccessible location/website/app/process. #A11y
