Open your eyes and soon you will see,
the truth has been hidden from both you and me.
They enslave us with lies and beautiful things.
On podiums and stages untruth spreads it's wings.
You grind through the month just trying to get through,
forseeing a break that never comes to.
Then one man stands up and speaks truth to us all,
upsetting the system, now he must fall.
They try to silence him with both weapons and schemes,
He is such a bad man at least so it seems.
His words are not soft and his thoughts are out loud,
yet when he enters a room he draws the whole crowd.
His words open eyes and for that he must go,
everytime that he speaks their numbers will grow.
Those that enslave us their numbers a few,
so division must come between me and you.
Anger and hunger they use to bring feud,
Our perception and perspective both become skewed.
Open your eyes and soon you will see coming together will set us all free.
If you open your mind your eyes will soon see,
that reality is not what you thought it to be.
So swallow your pride and open your mind,
To thine own self be true and to others be kind.
Actions not words show what is real,
