“sir they’ve paid $100 for the Apple Developer account” “good. wait 2 days to confirm their account then reject the app 10 times over the next 20 days. if they make it through take a 30% cut of the revenue and pay them out 2 months later. ban them if they try using Stripe”

What VC funding does to opensource Have been getting a lot of spam from them as well, the ulterior motive seems to just increase “github stars”, by luring people in to contribute in the name of “hiring”
Peter Steinberger 🦞@steipete

Did @aden_hq just spam all 180k followers who starred @openclaw? Kudos, that's bold. Also kinda bummed that @github 's API allows to just scrape every users who stars a repo.

A no-brainer tool for everyone and anyone to use if you work in JS/TS where there are 1000+ frameworks and integrations but can get you started in under a minute. @amanvarshney01 really cooked with this cli (will cook in future too 🥘). Go check it out!

@harsh_logs This is a known issue in how v8 engine (chromium) renders css backdrops. Solution A: do a 3D transform to force a GPU render Solution B: Draw a canvas, put your image in canvas, and add effects. You’ll see a 5x minimum faster performance

Ahhh, getting crucial performance issues to make it work for different browsers. If I improve the maths the output gets fucked, but obsessed with the output as it is, :P. Even now i know sites over Safari feels damn fast compared to Chromium based.. Lot of issues around how Canvas 2D is rendered. - Safari’s Core Image shader blurs the clone layer in ~1 ms. - In Chrome the layer is too big to blur on GPU, it falls back to software, and because the mask moves on every mouse-move, the layer is rasterized again → 20-40 ms / frame drop. Difference? Massive performance change with each frame getting rendered. This is big with ASCII image transformation. Issues of poor performance on (backdrop filters) still out there destroying FPS in chrome.

@earth_ish This package is actually a sub-project of a main-project, hence decided not to put git link, but nevertheless updated with the main project's git link in v0.1.1 patch release!

@darthbenro Nice! you're likely missing a gh link in readme ser, or a repo link in package.json for npm to show it

I built a zero-dependency, extremely fast and small web-router for @Cloudflare workers thats just 980bytes! (gzipped) ExpressJS like features, Hono like performance! No vibe-coding, just pure old engineering fun, built in couple hours. github.com/darthbenro008/…

Allowing a restaurant to list as “pure veg” and still allowing them to list non-veg items is diabolical engineering @Swiggy
