Give me a break mate. My whole family is blue collar, western suburbs. My cousins are old Port boys, painters and dockers. The issue is the VicGov builds are 3+ years behind schedule. And they’ve blown the budget by double the costs. And nobody being paid the big bucks has any accountability. Money will say when the jobs will be complete. Those billions over budget is being milked out of every one of Victorian by this corrupt Govt that awarded these jobs. Every other industry has been decimated, private sector is non existent and Victorians are being screwed by this union driven State Govt. With all the boys working like fkn turtles, taking home over $200,000+ a year…. There comes a point where you’ve just gotta say — get off the gravy train.

Labourers working the Westgate Tunnel take home on average $5,000 a week; and get $2,000 a day for working on public holidays. Is it any wonder the VicGov project is billions of dollars over budget and years overdue for completion. But you know what the biggest farce is when it comes to the Westgate tunnel —- putting aside what it’s costing us Victorians to build — after putting up with roadworks and road closures in the area for fkn years - we will perpetually be charged tolls every time we drive on the fkn thing.
