They have a very robust bus network we managed to go all the way from Dabolim airport to Canacona by changing bus because we didn't want to give single rupee to taxi mafia One can ask for help from locals about bus in Marathi & there's 30-40% chance they'll understand & reply

I was sitting with a neighbour I casually hang out with over tea or drinks and she mentioned how happy she was that Mamata lost and BJP won, saying her friends in Kolkata were celebrating.
The topic then shifted to UP, she said she really likes Yogi and when I asked her reason, she said she likes him because he is “Kattar Hindu” and he has controlled Muslims. I told her on her face that this says a lot about you and didn’t take the conversation any further.
This is exactly why I prefer keeping my circle small and staying away from political discussions, because once I understand how someone thinks, I cannot like them the same way or feel at ease around them.

Every trend has a natural lifespan and expiration date. Trad life. The manosphere. The “red-pill” movement. Minimalism. Van-life. Girl boss feminism. The list goes on and on.
They start as reactions to the current culture and they end as identities and costumes we put on. And if you build your identity mainly from trends, your identity is threatened when the trend ends. And maybe you search for a new one instead. And it repeats ad infinitum.
The alternative to the mass waves of culture is th path of individuation. Which means removing yourself from the collective egregores of mass movements and following the call of your soul.
It means finding your unique expression in a world full of replicas. It’s not for everyone, because it involves the desire to know yourself completely. And facing all the false selves you built as a substitute to get there.
But it’s the only path that lasts and won’t collapse with the algorithm changes as it’s built on the truth of your being.

Witnessed a rather healthy debate.
Someone from UP made a point that there's no state worse than UP. The intellectual Bengali jumped in to claim that West Bengal has been the worst. The Bihari just smirked at the naivety of the two.
The competition, after 12 years of BjP rule over India, is about which state is worse. As if the states are not part of the same country that is rotting at its core.

Defeating a wrestler whose hands and feet are tied isn’t skill it’s cowardice
Don’t talk about political genius until the courts show some spine, the Election Commission acts neutral, and the media finds its voice. Until then, these aren't victories; they are just a massive abuse of power.
The BJP has won for 12 years, sure. But a trophy won by choking the opposition and pocketing the system isn’t a triumph it’s a funeral for democracy. 🤐

I saw that video of the Bengali woman confronting her online abuser. It seemed to me the perfect example of why West Bengal is so important for the Right Wing to conquer. The patriarchal fascism of the right faces off with the fierce, strong and unapologetic resistance of the Woman here and ALWAYS loses. That simply won't do! The Woman HAS to be controlled, shown her place, made to bow! The fall of Bengal will be the ultimate ego boost for the fragile patriarchy of the Right. It never wants to appear to the world in its reality, like the the whimpering, stammering, ashamed man who threatened r@pe when his arguments failed. It will do anything to hide that. It ALREADY IS.

- Be Indian IT companies
- Use cheap labor for years to grow rich
- Don’t invest much money in research or innovation
- Focus more on making top management and shareholders rich
- Ignore new ideas and R&D inside the company
- Keep doing mass hiring and mass firing
- Lose the best engineers to better companies but act like it doesn’t matter
- Then AI tools like ChatGPT arrive
- Your cheap-labor advantage starts disappearing
- Struggle to adapt to the new AI world
- Try training employees in AI tools but it doesn’t work well
- Clients start asking for cheaper contracts because AI reduces work
- Depend on cash reserves and share buybacks to keep stock price stable
- Profits and growth start falling
- Can’t keep hiring and firing like before
- Finally admit management doesn’t know what to do next.
