This problem needs to be completely removed from Battlefield 6. I recorded footage from THE FINALS as well as Battlefield 4 and 1, and none of those games have this issue, which was introduced in BF6. I know the developers said they are looking into it, but I doubt it will ever be fully removed. I strongly disagree with keeping it in the game. This issue needs to be removed completely and for ever. Horizontal recoil can stay and even be increased if needed, but it should never interfere with my mouse movement when I am tracking someone. @tiggr_ @djhixon_ @aba31185891 please consider the use case of vertical recoil vs horizontal, every meaningful gunfight and engagement is 95% horizontal based, having an outside force effect your tracking and flicking capabilities differently either way horizontally feels sluggish.

@djhixon_ @aba31185891 thats how vertical recoil works though? it moves your cm/360 (if you did a 360 vertically that is)? Why should the horizontal dito not work the same way? Im not a fan of horiz recoil btw, just saying consistency is good. The issue is how much horizontal recoil there is in my op

Since your aiming point is being forced to move up, you have to give extra aim input down to counteract that. I know there is more to it, with horizontal recoil in particular.

So the issues like Mnk being 125hz and the lack of true raw input like you see here stems from this. Same with 2042, same engine same build most likely. So it carries over.

The slowdown is variable so you cant actually adjust for it. You either cant move aim at all or you overshoot by a mile. Why did the basics need to change?
