There are no aliens. Even if there were (and there aren't) they would have no way of getting here. The distances are simply too vast. Far, far too vast. The nearest star outside of our own sun is 4.2 light-years away. No aliens, no matter how clever, will ever be able to travel anywhere near the speed of light. The laws of physics prevent it. To accelerate any mass at all (even a pebble) to anything approaching even 1/3rd the speed of light would take incomprehensibly vast amounts of energy. You need a lot of spaceship (and I mean YUGE) to hold that much energy. So, now you've got a heck of a lot more than a pebble to move. Your energy problem just got infinitely worse. It's impossible folks. ET ain't out there, and even if he was, he ain't dropping by for a visit.

ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES YOU LITTLE SHIT...My wife lets my stepkids do whatever the fuck they want, and it has been building resentment for a long time, but today pushed it over the edge. Everyone in the house knows today is my laundry day, and this was not some random coincidence either, because just yesterday I got into a huge argument with my stepson over his constant misbehavior at school that finally got him suspended. I had to step in and discipline him because no one else was doing it, and he CLEARLY did not like that. So today, right in the middle of my laundry, he slipped a crayon into the washing machine and ruined all of my clothes. This was not cheap stuff or replaceable basics, these were luxury clothes that cost me over $670, and watching them come out destroyed felt intentional and petty. I am done pretending this is just kids being kids when it keeps crossing into deliberate disrespect. When I confronted him, he just shrugged and said, “You shouldn’t have yelled at me yesterday.” That was the moment I decided this is not sliding. Since my wife refuses to enforce real consequences, I am taking the $670 she has been saving from HIS college fund and using it to cover what he ruined.
