This was our closest allies preparing to fight Americans.
Let that sink in. NATO allies. Countries whose soldiers have fought and died alongside ours for decades. They looked at this president and decided they had to prepare for the worst.
Fewer allies does not make America great. It makes us more isolated, more vulnerable, and it hands Russia and China exactly what they have always wanted: an America abandoned by its friends.

BREAKING: Iran's attacks on US military bases across the Middle East have forced many American troops to "work remotely" due to "severe" damage, per NYT.
Details include:
1. Many American troops have had to relocate to hotels and office spaces throughout the Middle East
2. An "exception" has been made for fighter pilots and crews operating and maintaining warplanes and conducting strikes
3. Iran has "urged people" to report these new locations to the IRGC
4. Iranian officials have accused the US of using civilians as human shields by putting American troops in hotels

@TheFlowHorse Kuwait shot down some of our jets with our Patriot missile system. Our pilots are fine. He says we bc we work with Kuwait. I don’t see the issue.
What’s idiotic is that we sell systems and don’t turn off targeting for our own aircraft. I’ve never understood it.

Embarrassing: Gov. Beshear’s “New Kentucky Home” Website Still Brags About a Chinese Battery Plant That’s Basically Abandoned
This photo is from the 2022 groundbreaking ceremony in Bowling Green, where Beshear hailed Envision AESC (a Chinese-owned company) as the future — a $2 billion gigafactory creating 2,000 jobs and making Kentucky the "#1 in battery production."
They got $110 million in Kentucky taxpayer cash, on top of other incentives.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the company quietly stopped major work on the plant last year. The massive building shell sits unfinished. Employees have been laid off. Neighbors and reports describe it as all but abandoned — while local spin claims “infrastructure improvements continue.”
Yet today, on Beshear’s official New Kentucky Home website, they’re still touting AESC as a cornerstone of Kentucky being the “electric vehicle battery capital of the United States.”
