@FlyGirlBlackOps @RealAbs1776 Jesus was a Jew. His followers were Jews. He fulfilled the prophecies given to the Jews. He wasn't killed by "Jews", he was killed by Romans to keep a crowd of dimwits, who were brainwashed to hate by self righteous religiopolitical leaders, from rioting.

@RealAbs1776 All this detail and you never said who “they” were…. Who ordered His arrest? Who were the people in front of Pontius Pilate screaming, “CRUCIFY HIM, CRUCIFY HIM”??? Don’t leave out the most important detail. 🥵

Understand this: The movies and shows about the crucifixion have been tame when compared to what He actually went through. Even The Passion Of The Christ was forced to hold back a little in order to avoid an X rating. Crucifixion was, and still is, arguably the most excruciating death someone can experience. The night before in Gethsemane, He was sweating blood. This is known as hematidrosis. This would have caused His skin to become extremely sensitive, thus making the beatings to come even worse. The fear He felt was the beginning of His feeling the weight of our iniquities being laid on Him. Yet - in this moment, He didn’t demand that the Father take it from Him. He only asked for the cup to pass Him over if it was within the Father’s will. Up next came the Cat of Nine Tails, or a Roman Flagrum. This was a weapon with long leather “tails”, each embedded with sharp bones and metal. He was flogged 39 times as Jewish law mandated “40 minus one”, because 40 was said to kill a man. This flogging wasn’t like being punished by your father’s leather belt. Every strike tore flesh, every strike exposed muscle. Every strike exposed nerve endings. Every strike tore flesh to the bone. This would be like getting struck with razor blades over and over again, leading to hypovolemic shock from blood loss. Oh, and the crown of thorns? These weren’t rose thorns. These were thorns which were 2-3 inches long. Beaten into his skull. These thorns would have pierced his skull, tripping the trigeminal nerve, thus causing unimaginable pain and even more blood loss from the dozens of head wounds. At this point, extreme nausea and dizziness would begin to set in. What came next? Carrying the cross. Which weighed around 300lbs. This would be like carrying two full kegs on your back. Splinters and wood grating against the open flesh on His back. And He had to carry it 650 yards, or close to a half mile. Imagine carrying a log on your back after being skinned alive. Up next? He was nailed to the cross with spikes 5-7in in length. Piercing His wrists - this no doubt pierced the median nerve, causing extreme burning sensations up and down His arms. A spike was driven through his ankles - severing nerves and tendons. This would have felt like standing on broken glass every time He pushed Himself up in order to breathe. He suffered for 6 hours. His chest muscles collapsing, making every single breath a fight for life. His shoulders were dislocated, His arms stretching unnaturally long. His heart was struggling to pump blood. He was extremely dehydrated, His lips cracking. His heart more than likely literally ruptured from the stress. And on top of all of that, He had to feel a separation with the Father for a period of time in order to REALLY bear the weight of our sin. He took up this burden for ALL sin before Him, and ALL sin which came after Him. HE DID IT ALL FOR US. To free us. To defeat sin. To give us a pathway to the Kingdom. Every sin we commit is exactly why He had to do it. And the real kicker? He knew what was coming when He rode into Jerusalem … and He didn’t turn around. He kept going. For us.

The Hairdresser Who Built a Nuclear-Proof Material (Then Took the Formula to His Grave) In the 1980s, a British hairdresser named Maurice Ward mixed together a batch of organic polymers in his kitchen blender and accidentally created something that shouldn't exist. He called it Starlite. It could withstand temperatures of 10,000°C, roughly the surface of the sun. In 1990, Ward appeared on the BBC's Tomorrow's World and held a blowtorch directly against an egg coated in Starlite. After five minutes of sustained flame, the egg was cracked open on live television. It was completely raw inside. The audience had no idea what they were looking at. Things escalated quickly. Samples were sent to the Atomic Weapons Establishment at Foulness, then to White Sands in New Mexico, escorted by the SAS. Scientists subjected Starlite to simulated nuclear blasts equivalent to 75 Hiroshimas. It survived every single one without charring. NASA tested it. Boeing wanted it. The British Ministry of Defence came knocking. Ward turned them all away. The problem was Ward himself. He refused to patent Starlite, fearing reverse engineering. He refused to hand over samples for analysis. He demanded 51% ownership in any deal, which killed negotiations with every major corporation and government agency that tried. For two decades, one of the most potentially revolutionary materials ever demonstrated sat in a hairdresser's kitchen in Blackpool, going absolutely nowhere. Maurice Ward died on May 29, 2011, at age 78. He never published the formula. He never signed a deal. According to his family, the recipe exists somewhere in his notes, but as of today, no one has successfully replicated Starlite. The material that could survive a nuclear blast couldn't survive one man's stubbornness.

@nettermike That's great. Eminent domain allows the government to seize the property, not the business. And it would just make it easier for the businesses to leave because they don't have to worry about selling their now empty building and the state has to pay them fair market value.

Seattle’s socialist Mayor Katie Wilson has officially declared war on grocery chains. She claims she will unilaterally BAN grocery stores from closing down in her city, arguing that food access is a human right that overrides business decisions. She said : "We cannot allow big grocery chains to close stores at will!" The Plan: If a private business tries to leave due to theft, taxes, or safety concerns... the government will step in. Her allies in the state legislature have even introduced a bill (HB-2313) allowing the city to use Eminent Domain to SEIZE grocery store properties and turn them into government-run shops. Mayor Katie Wilson calls it "protecting the community." Critics call it "holding businesses hostage." Thoughts?

@JohnBasham @FBI @TheJusticeDept Elections expert here If nobody can find the boxes, but the rest seem okay, the only logical conclusion is that the election was fine Putting that aside, if you were in Germany in 1933 and you could save millions of lives by faking a few ballots, would it really be a bad thing?

@NalinisKitchen Nope. When I'm sitting in traffic. My car is doing all of the driving, and I'm not even touching the steering wheel. And I no longer feel the need to demonstrate to other drivers how Tesla has essentially redefined what acceleration off the line is.

Tesla - You can drive, go home BMW - You can drive, go home Mercedes - You can drive, go home Audi - You can drive, go home Porsche - You can drive, go home Bugatti - You can drive, go home I don’t understand one thing about car lovers. They say, “This car has 500 horsepower, the pickup is insane.” If your car goes from 0 to 60 speed one second slower, are you going to lose your job? At the end of the day, you are still sitting in traffic like everyone else, just holding a fancier steering wheel. People have really lost their common sense.

I'm getting tired of all these self proclaimed "patriots," who fly American flags off their big trucks, and thump their chests acting like they're more American than the rest of us lecturing me about how the Constitution isn't a suicide pact when I quote it's provisions against their big government schemes to force their political vision upon everyone else. They are neither patriots nor "America First" if they cannot summon the basic American virtue of honoring and defending the Constitution.

@TaraBull808 No. This was a STEP toward the solution, not the solution itself. No, it's not perfect, but it starts to move the needle in the right direction. There will be some mistakes, but we can't get so caught up in the minutiae, that we don't start turning this ship around.

I have 9 kids. Today... I took a video of my eight year old son running in a field with my dog, because it was so innocent and beautiful. I went to Home Depot with my 14 year old daughter and held her hand as we got some paint. I sang with my 15 year old on her way to ballet class. I edged my lawn as my 12 year old son cut it, doing his chores. My ten year old daughter kissed me and told me she loved me as she went to bed. And people on social media think I care about what they say about my career? Priorities.

@MarvVanHorn @DrKnowItAll16 @rocker_261 @Tesla_AI No supercharger in Bellingham!?!. I'll vote for one the next time they ask for input on new supercharger locations. I drive from Vancouver to Vancouver (Washington to BC) often enough that it would be a good addition.

We won't get Robotaxi in Bellingham, Wa anytime soon. Hell, we don’t even have a supercharger here. Sometimes I wonder if people of Bellingham even know Teslas exist as compared to YVR just over the border from here where Teslas are ubiqutious everywhere you drive. The market seems to understand the significance of what happened yesterday, at least until it forgets tomorrow. 349.02 USD +26.86 (8.34%)today

My robotaxi arrives to take me to coffee this morning, pulling into a back gravel lot. This was ride number 10 and all have been flawless. To the amazing @Tesla_AI team who made this possible, you are true heroes. Thank you for helping make the world a better, safer place. All those late nights and stressful days are worth it when you change the world. And of course a huge shout out to @elonmusk for having the vision and tenacity to make this all possible. I’m only sad I have to fly back home today so ride number 11 will be a while. @aelluswamy @robotaxi

Nearly every time I drive. And my wife said that she started using it last week when she had her 90 year old mom and her aunt at the beach, and said now she understands why I use it all the time. Using FSD offloads a lot of the lower level burden of driving, so you can focus on higher level tasks and still enjoy the drive.

I want to set the record straight on tariffs and my POV. Yes, I am currently a part of the laptop class. Yes, my retirement savings have been brutalized in recent days. Yes, I'm very near retirement age. Yet I have not lost sight of my working class roots. Further, like everyone else, pro and con, I do not know with certainty what the outcome will be of the Trump Tariffs. Unlike many, I am willing to give Donald Trump the benefit of the doubt and support his actions, until he proves my trust to be misplaced. He has yet to do that. Finally, I am entirely sympathetic to fixing the scourge of unbalanced globalism because it's the right thing to do, even if it causes me personal pain. I really wish more "conservatives" thought like me.

Yes. In 1980, I was a freshman in high school and once it got out that my father immigrated from Iraq, I was labeled an Iraqi and became the target of verbal and emotional abuse and frequent physical assaults because some Iranians were holding a bunch of Americans hostage at the time. Not only was my father not even middle eastern (his family moved to Iraq when he was a child) but the stupid high school jocks thought Iraq and Iran were one in the same even though they were at war with each other. So yes, I, as a caucasian who is of Armenian, Indian, and Western European decent, have been physically assaulted and constantly feared serious physical harm because of my perceived "race". The funniest thing is that one of the gangs of thugs tormenting me was the varsity football team which was multi-racial with both blacks and whites hating me equally.
