He scans and asks “Phone number?” “Why?” I asked He did a triple take. “Uh, cuz most people have a cellphone number.” “Why do you need my number?” “For your receipt?” “Can I get a paper receipt? I don’t want my number sold to more scammers.” “Bruh, Best Buy won’t call you.” “Then you don’t need my number. Can I please pay and leave?” Socially conditioned to give up information that’s completely irrelevant except for monetization. So when you ask the question “why”, it’s so incredulous i might as well told him I was into midget robot burlesque

Delroy Lindo didn’t take home the Oscar for Sinners, but just earning a nomination should open a lot of doors for him- doors that should’ve been held open & waiting for this man for years. Lindo’s got a lot left in the tank, I really believe that. Curious where he goes next.

@CinemaTweets1 There’s a wonderful documentary about him. It’s called, I Knew It Was You. Everyone says he would have been right there with them. He was in 5 movies and 4 of the 5 were nominated for Oscar’s.

We’ve been so fortunate the last 40 years to watch Al Pacino & Robert De Niro’s careers unfold together. But it’s hard not to wonder: could John Cazale have made it a trio? When you see Cazale act next to Pacino or De Niro, it’s impossible to ignore where Cazale could’ve gone.
